We walked over here after a really bad experience at K1 speed. They were ready to immediately see us, but we chose to sit at the bar and she was absolutely amazing. The bartender was wonderful. The drinks were great. The food was so amazing. Can’t wait to go back.

Anne was our server and she was lovely. The food was great for the price considering we went during lunch. The only con I had was that the crab legs seemed to be a bit premature. Other than that, I would recommend this place for a great seafood boil spot.

They were not staffed properly for Valentine’s Day 2026. I placed at order at 650pm for 2 boil bags. I didn’t get my food until 8pm. I was expecting a longer wait because of the fake holiday but 2 hours for food they warm up is unacceptable. To top it off when I got home my $91 order was wrong and the wonderful manager Naomi offered me a $10 credit for my “next” visit. Take that $10 and shove it where the sun don’t shine “sunshine”

Worst meal & service I’ve had in a long time! Three people and we ordered a combined 2.5lbs of crab legs – 85% of those were empty/no crab meat. We’re not one to complain, but when we couldn’t crack them from being so soft (literally folded in half), we spoke up & they brought the exact same bag out to us. Health code violation. We should have refused at that point, but once again – we try to make the best of the situation. After peeling the legs open, we noticed most of them were empty… our waitress NEVER checked on us or refilled drinks until we were cleaning up, as she was busy socializing and taking pictures with a party & in the bathroom on her phone. We kept the empty shells to show her (once waved down) and she sent over “manager”… this lady did not provide her name. She graciously, gave us 10% off and treated us as if we ate the crab legs and were lying… she also said she was being “sneaky” by her generous offer “and not telling CoCo” – whoever that is.
After pointing out what little meat we did get, she advised they don’t know what’s in the legs. Obviously, but if they’re empty, surely the weight would reflect so. Unless you are dishonest company and toss them in a bag hoping no one notices ♀️
I ended up having a coupon that saved more money than “manager” gave us, so they were quick to remove their 10% – leaving us paying for less than acceptable food.
Fortunately, we had ordered wings & hush puppies apps and those were good…
Also adding – there was very loud music & what appeared to be a dance class happening…with the same party our waitress was distracted by. Made dinner even more enjoyable!
Too many other options to try this again and will share my review everywhere possible.

ordered take out on a trip to VA so i cant speak on atmosphere or service but the food was 10/10! the portions are big and the sauce is good- will definitely get a spicier level next time! the crawfish were so big and so good!! will definitely be back on my next trip!

Today was my first time dining at Boil Bay, I was impressed with the interior of the restaurant and its cleanliness. Our server/ waitress, Tracy was pleasant, knowledgeable of the items on the menu and very accommodating.
The Food…. was DELISH & I would say the pricing is appropriate for the quality they provide. I’m looking for to my next dining experience there.

This is my favorite seafood boil restaurant and probably the 5th time I’ve come here since they opened (also ordered plenty of to go orders and I always leave satisfied. We dined here on Valentine’s Day and were seated immediately. The restaurant is spacious so I don’t think I’ve ever waited long. Our server Darrell was phenomenal.
The food as usual did not disappoint. I love love the Cajun fried rice and catfish sliders (no tartar, add lettuce, remoulade sauce on the side) and had been looking forward to those for a week. We tried the battered buffalo wings for the first time and they were cooked and seasoned perfectly; would definitely order again. We also did a custom boil with 1/2 lb of each: crab legs, shrimp, sausage with the boil bay sauce and was the perfect amount for us. 10/10 experience per usual!

More fish options would be great. Crab cakes need more lump crab meat and less fillers. Great staff and facilities.

The server was nice but didn’t get our order right. We ordered shrimp with the head on then got shrimp without heads, and was charged $4 more.
There are two service stations for the staff that have 2 crazy 1,000 watt lights over them that are worse than the sun. It ruined our meal, squinting the whole time we ate.
Why would they do this and don’t know how bad it is.
The place is nice but the service station lights are horrible.

The staff was nice. Our waitress was attentive. The garlic butter sauce in the boil was great! The drinks were just right. We had a catfish poboy, a combo B and a kids menu shrimp and fries. They have live music. A bit loud.
