We had an incredible experience at Devil May Care. The atmosphere was vibrant and inviting, and the ambiance was absolutely exceptional—perfect for a relaxed yet stylish night out.
We went on what’s known as Thursday R&B night, but the DJ doesn’t start until 9:00 PM. We’re definitely planning to return so we can fully experience the DJ set and the vibe that comes with it.
I ordered the hummus with pita bread and the Brussels sprouts—both were phenomenal. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. You can tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and taste. The chicken skewer was also a hit—especially if you enjoy a little heat!
From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the friendly staff and the great energy. Devil May Care is officially a new favorite in Austin. We’ll definitely be back!

Had an issue with the burger unfortunately that could have been handled differently …. but all in all a good experience.

This place has a great vib. Very different from the typical Austin bar. No giant screen tvs. Not a cowboy bar. Mellow music on Wednesdays. People dress nicer. Big city feel. More sophisticated. Intimate two person tables. I will be back for sure. Great cocktails.

One item that missed the mark for me was the saffron rice; it seemed more like white rice with some color rather than authentic saffron rice, and the distinct saffron flavor just didn’t come through as expected.
Now for the highlight: the drinks! The cocktails here are outstanding—smooth, creative, and well-balanced. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the presentation and flavors. They truly elevate the experience and make this spot worth coming back to.
Despite a couple of small areas for improvement with the food, I would definitely return for the drinks and the overall ambiance. It’s a trendy, stylish spot that’s perfect for a casual night out or a special evening with friends. If you appreciate unique cocktails and a vibrant setting, Devil May Care should be on your list!

This place is a hidden gem, especially for happy hour. The cocktails were good, the burger was great and the Brussels were delicious. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute, speakeasy type spot for great food and drinks

We had such a great time at Devil May Care! We weren’t sure what to expect food-wise with it being a lounge vibe, but the food was absolutely amazing! Our waitress Emily was awesome and had great recommendations and provided great service. We will definitely be coming back for that burger and more baklava!

Went here for the first time and absolutely loved it! We were greeted by Reece, who was so sweet and friendly, she got us seated immediately in a super cute spot. Our server was Nayeli- she was wonderful, very attentive- we never felt like we had to wait on food/drinks, her service was great!
We ordered the oysters, lamb meatballs, stuffed dates, and falafel (best falafel I’ve ever had). Everything was so tasty and the presentation was beautiful!

This was my second time coming here and it was just as good as the first! Service is always great, drinks so good (I recommend the espresso martini) , Whipped feta.. A MUST. The chicken kebab was soooo yummy I’m still thinking about it lol Highly recommend!

Loved this spot! The cocktails are unique and delicious but the real star might be the food. The trio of dips is life-changingly good and the brussel sprouts were to die for. The cherry on top was the incredible staff! We enjoyed impeccable hospitality, a visit from the GM, and an overall feeling of being with loved ones. I can’t wait to go back!
