We were visiting from
Houston and decided to leave the strip for some Italian food and it was the best decision we’ve made since we’ve been here. You HAVE to try the lasagna!!! Sounds like a basic plate but it will blow your mind. They made everything from scratch.

Classic Italian Done Elegantly

This spot captures the essence of old-school Italian charm with a refined touch. The atmosphere is warm, romantic, and unmistakably nostalgic — like stepping into a timeless trattoria tucked away on a quiet Roman street. Well presented tables, soft music, and attentive service create the perfect setting for an intimate dinner or a special night out.

What truly sets the experience apart was the personal touch: the chef himself welcomed us, sat us, and even served our meals. It’s rare to see that kind of pride and hospitality — and it showed in every detail of the evening.

The menu pays homage to Italian classics while delivering them with skill and elegance. The lasagna is a standout — rich, layered, and comforting, with just the right balance of savory meat, creamy marinara, and perfectly cooked pasta. The chicken marsala is equally impressive: tender, flavorful, and bathed in a silky mushroom-wine sauce that speaks to tradition done right.

Even the little touches shine. The house-made dressings — especially the creamy Italian — elevate the salads beyond the expected, offering a fresh, tangy complement that lingers in the best way.

Whether you’re here for a romantic dinner or simply craving comforting, authentic Italian fare, this place delivers with heart, soul, and plenty of flavor.

My girlfriend and I ate here tonight after getting back from visiting the grand canyon. I have honestly never had better Italian food in my entire life. They bring you this bread that was so incredible I asked for more. We got the mozzarella and the salad with it before the main meal and it was exquisite. I ordered the chicken Alfredo and have never eaten better chicken Alfredo in my 39 years. Everything was made fresh to order and you could tell. The stuff was extremely attentive I was in shock the entire visit. We had 2 waiters waiting on us and the price was very reasonable. We left completely stuffed and I plan on us going back before we fly back home. I cannot recommend this small restaurant enough. The entire experience was top tier.

We really enjoy this restaurant for many reasons. The atmosphere is more romatic than many Italian restaurants as lights are dimmed and soft music is playing. Food is very good with large servings, two of our favorites are shrimp and mushroom fettucine with pink sauce and the rack of lamb which has a very tasty sauce. Wait staff is very professional, we usually have Carlos serving us, he is very professional seats us immediately, and has worked at this restaurant 29 years! The chef/owner comes out to greet people and prepares a large variety of dishes. 5 Star on everything!

First time here and the food was absolutely delicious. I could tell that every detail is thought of with great pride. The sauces on each dish were very flavorful and light. We will definitely be back again. Carlos our server was very friendly and the music added to the great ambiance.

I had high hopes for this place. But it was such a TERRIBLE experience !!! I had a reservation for today (feb 14) I thought it would be a nice cute valentines date. Oh I was wrong! The place looked nice when we sat but the server was absolutely awful !!!
First we asked for a Shirley temple because the table next to use ordered it and it looked good. Our server said “oh no, no more” when clearly the table next to us just ordered it and on top of that another table ordered it after us and they got it. Crazy.
Next he messed up our order. We asked for tortellini Alfredo but we got fettuccine Alfredo instead. SMH.
On top of that the food came out 30-40 mins after we ordered. ON TOP OF THAT IT WAS COLD! How does it take that long and it’s cold! It probably was just sitting there waiting to be served at the window.
Not only the food came late and was cold. It tasted HORRIBLE! Like they microwaved the chicken and threw sauce on some pasta!!!
The only time the server came back was when we were done to ask for the bill. We had to flag down another waiter for WATER! Come on !!!
I would not recommend this place to anyone that wants to eat Italian food. This place is garbage.
I don’t write reviews but I had to write one for this TERRIBLE place.

Usually the “hole in the wall”s offer the best food but I hadn’t been here for over 20 yrs bc I wasn’t impressed with the food then! I was really surprised to see what a dump it’s become in decor, furniture, silverware mismatching. So outdated, atleast straighten the portraits hanging and show some pride. Its like a forgotten restaurant inside. Service was 1/10. Pretty much, “what do you want?” And bar items took forEVER. They pound the chicken so thin they must get 4 filets out of 1 single breast but the marsala sauce was tasty. The pasta is not fresh pasta. Ceasar salad was soggy but tasty dressing; no croutons. Veal parm was paper thin veal (?). They do pour a generous glass of wine but Im inclined to think its a house wine regardless of what you order. The complimentary garlic bread was nothing Italian, more like a grocery store roll. Overpriced & disappointing… strange experience. I should’ve taken pics for real.
