Celebrated my birthday with my guests in the Library room(reserved for private party) at Granger’s. Never heard of this resturant until a family member shared their experience after a company holiday party. I decided to stop by, check the place out and speak with event staff regarding a private party.
First: this resturant is clean inside and out, with attractive decor with class personified. Second: the regular service staff members are friendly, professional and attentive. Lastly; after speaking with Event Planner Cheryl White, I was completely sold on celebrating my party at Granger’s. From the start, she was very kind, easy to talk with/very pleasant, respectful, professional and made the best recommendations based upon my price point.
Cheryl was present for the start of my party and made sure all went well. Also during my celebration; Chef Manny Velasquez(prepared a special dessert for my Mom) and his staff(do not recall their names but PLEASE take them) did an amazing job with respect to courtesy, presentation of food items, drinks and cleanliness. Also, the steak from the Baller Board was amazing. My guests and I appreciate the food quality, the professionalism, attention to detail, and the atmosphere. As a result of my experience, Granger’s will definitely be on the list as a “go to spot.”
The service was top notch, thanks to Haley and Amelia. Amelia was especially polite and attentive, always ready to help with dish selections and suggestions.
Without a doubt, I look forward to visiting again.

Our server, Ray, was fantastic. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We were also impressed that Chef Manny came out to our table to chat, which made the experience feel even more welcoming and personal.
Overall, everything from the food to the service was excellent. We’ll definitely be back!
From the moment we walked in the door we were floored. From the complimentary glass of prosecco upon entrance, to the cocktails we ordered you could tell that the staff at Grangers intend to go above and beyond and not miss a single detail.
My friend had the crab hush puppies (which were to die for) & I opted for oysters from the raw bar. Starters came out quick & presentation was on point. Then we both ordered a steak + shrimp scampi (legitimately the best shrimp scampi I have ever had – steak was cooked to perfection) our server Issac was so friendly, attentive, and gave the best recommendations for wine for us to pair with our meals as well as for local spots we should check our over our short stay.
We were so pleased to speak with the sous chef, Josh as well who came tableside to give us recommendstions for our next stop on our trip, Monterrey. But Josh didnt stop there, once our steaks were almost done Issac informed us Josh was working on a special dessert for us, on the house. We were delighted to enjoy a Texas pecan pie with ice cream as well as another dessert off menu, chocolate decadence.
The lengths the staff went to ensure we had an unforgettable night literally blew our minds. The first taste of Texas hospitality left us speechless.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making us feel so at home and delivering one of the best experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. You all are at the top of your game and the passion you put into Granger’s doesn’t go unnoticed.

For the first course, I had the clam chowder — a comforting and flavorful starter. For the second course, I ordered the 7 oz prime NY strip with Bobby G’s gratin potatoes. Omggggg! The steak was buttery, melt-in-your-mouth perfection and seasoned just right. The potatoes complemented it beautifully. For dessert, I went with the mini crème brûlée, which was delicious and the perfect sweet ending.
To drink, I tried the Tequila Mockingbird. I didn’t realize it had jalapeño in it when I ordered (just asked for the most popular), so it was definitely on the spicy side. Not my usual choice, but worth trying once.
Overall, this spot delivers an upscale dining experience with great food. Reservations are recommended since it can get busy. Parking options include valet, meters, and some free street parking.
The service is truly unmatched. I never have to ask for anything twice. Everything is handled with care, attentiveness, and professionalism. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience they’re giving, not just getting through the shift.
And the food? Consistently amazing. The crab cakes deserve their own moment. Perfectly seasoned, packed with crab, and cooked to absolute perfection. Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. Every dish is flavorful, fresh, and beautifully executed, so you already know you’re leaving satisfied.
Granger has earned my loyalty over and over again. When you combine incredible food, exceptional service, and the ability to handle large groups without missing a beat, that’s a place worth supporting. I’ll always be a loyal customer. (wish I could have gotten a photo of the crab cakes but once I had one bit it was over)
