We are a small locally owned restaurant with two locations in Okeechobee and Sebring. We opened in Sebring in 2015 and r moved to our new location across from Highlands Regional Hospital in 2018. Come and check out our laid back vibe and fresh food. We Serve Paninis, Sandwiches, Salads, Quiche, Ice Cream, and Cakeballs. We also offer smoothies, 20+ hot teas, espresso, milkshakes and more!!!

Nutmeg’s catered my morning wedding and it was beautiful. They did a coffee bar, pastries, fruit, mini quiches, salami skewers, cheese, and yogurt parfaits. I was in contact with Megan the whole time and she was super detailed and sweet. I’m so happy with how it turned out and I highly recommend them for events!

Nutmeg’s Café is a delightful spot with both excellent food and atmosphere. I ordered the Sweetie Bird paired with a pea salad and a creamy matcha latte, while my daughter enjoyed the pulled pork chili topped with cheese and Fritos. Both dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and very satisfying.
For dessert, we tried the lemon poppyseed cake balls and the guava cream cheese pastries. Each was fresh, unique, and absolutely delicious.
The service was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The café itself has a whimsical charm that reminded me of Alice in Wonderland, making the experience even more memorable.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a truly inviting atmosphere.

We stopped here for the first time for lunch. They bring drinks to your table, but then you have to go to the counter to order. We both had the Cuban Club, and she got beef barley soup as a side. I got a salad, but when the sou came, it had corn, which she can’t eat, so I had both! The sandwich was excellent, and we both took half home for later.
The atmosphere is early yard sale, and I don’t think there’s two chairs that match, but that lends to the homeyness. She bought a cupcake for dessert and they also have a variety of ice cream. The staff was friendly and efficient.

First time here today. Delicious Food, But Customer Service Needs Improvement
The food here is absolutely delicious! I love that there’s such a wide variety of options to choose from. The cupcakes, in particular, are incredibly moist and flavorful — all good items are definitely worth the price. Honestly, the outside look of the cafe does not do the food justice at all.
However, the customer service experience was disappointing. Both employees working today seemed upset or uninterested, showing no smiles or warmth. When I asked about the cupcake flavors, one employee told me to look at the case where the flavors were written and when i went to look the names were not written on the case. Another employee came out and told me the names of each cupcake. She wasn’t rude, but her tone and lack of friendliness gave off a cold impression.
I truly believe that with some customer service retraining, this café could be just as amazing in atmosphere as it is in food quality. The food alone deserves five stars — the service just needs to match it.
