It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and very traditional — the kind of place that immediately makes you feel comfortable.
We tried the tacos and the Guacamole Special Steak, and everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The steak was juicy and perfectly cooked, and the guacamole tasted vibrant and homemade. You can really tell they care about the quality of their ingredients.
Service was fast, polite, and attentive, making the visit even better. Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this place!

Overall food was consistent with other Mexican restaurants. No complaints with taste. The steak tacos were different to what I’ve had in the past where the steak was cut into small tiny pieces and kind of rubbery. The refried beans were good. The rice was okay. Portions were enough for the two of us to share. The margaritas were just okay. The salsa was average.

Walked in last night and there was only 1 table seated. Went to the bar to grab a drink and food and even though we were greeted by the server right away, we left before we ordered anything as there was a foul smell throughout the restaurant. The restaurant was dead, as there was only 1 table seated, so I’m not sure why it smelled the way it did, but the odor was very foul and we decided to leave before our server asked us if we wanted anything.

This place is amazing! It’s tranquil, with beautiful Mexican style decorated furniture (tables/chairs/benches/statues. It has a huge bar in the back. I ordered a chipotle shrimp dinner with peas/rice, avocado and a yummy salad It was delicious! Everything tasted fresh. It was a take out meal but the waiter was courteous and gave me a menu right away and beautiful area to review the options. Wonderful service!!! I’ll be back. The restaurant needs to have more advertising from within the mall because it’s easy to miss but it’s such a treasure to find.

Everything here is SO TASTYY!! They give you a complimentary side of nachos and 2 different sauces, both the sauces were amazing. Later I tried Enchilada and Burrito both were just amazing and so tasty even the salad and rice had so nice flavours. I really loved it. I also tried a watermelon drink which was tasty but so icy and I usually don’t like ice drinks so wouldn’t cut a star here. Just the best place for Mexican food.

This was our place to go for special family occasions. But today it was a disaster, the food was completely spoiled, the beans where smelling bad and sour the rice was saggy and reheated, I ordered a Oaxaca steak and it was horrible cooked almost like microwave and had a very bad sour flavor no one in my party couldn’t eat, I mentioned to my server and he said that he eat that for lunch and it was good when he had it, and than after I pay and left the place I noticed a “18% party change” on my bill for a party of 5, 2 kids and 3 adults.

I used to be a regular here but one of their regular staff members Ismeal started giving me bad service. I noticed he would be rude to me while waiting my table, like he was annoyed with me. I always get the same thing so he knows me by my order. One day I was driving to CT from NY, when I made my friend drive to guacamoles, i called and place my order ahead of time, but the driver drove to their other location. So i ended up switching my order to the location that I was at. Next time i went back to the milford location, ismeal asked me if it was me who made that order and went to the wrong location. I informed him that it was me and that it was a miscommunication. Months go by and i normally dine in, i noticed him being shady to me. I normally dine here at least once a week. One day I called to place an order for pickup, keep in mind this is several months after ive been a regular customer at this milford location, Ismeal says to me while im placing my order over the phone, come to right location this time cause you ordered here and went to the Brandford location. That really urked me because that incident happened 5 months ago and since then I’ve been to the restaurant several times over 10 times. I told him i know and hung up. I should have set him straight then. So after 50 mins i go to pick up my order. Ismael is at the front and proceeds to tell me that my order is not ready. I get the ceviche, its literally raw fish in lime juice, it doesn’t take that long to make. I asked why is it taking so long, he tells me that they had a couple orders before me. There was literally 3 tables in the whole restaurant. The place is normally empty and part of it is because of the terrible service. He then proceeds to asked me to pay. I then wait another 30 mins to get my order. Because of the incident that previously occurred with me going to the wrong location. He did not place my order until i Paid. I had my two year old sleeping in the car. These people have zero care for their customers and they just lost a loyal customer. You would think he would apologize for the long wait. Nothing. This place is basura. Go somewhere else.

Delicious food! Just what the doctor ordered… Refried beans, Mexican rice and chicken quesadillas plus shrimp enchiladas. Warm, comforting atmosphere with lovely staff.
