My friend and I made this our Saturday lunch destination. Fair costs, quality attention, and delicious dishes available. The staff made us feel remarkably appreciated. My relatives all have favorite dishes here. Amazing food and incredibly friendly assistance.

I’m amazed by how well they handle every customer interaction. The staff balances information with attentive care. Their food stands out and their service always meets standards. I will let my relatives know about this restaurant where both the food and service impress. Everyone should try this place once.

The food is absolutely phenomenal. Haitian cuisine at its best. The decor can also upgraded, its small so it shouldn’t be hard to buy 5 matching chairs but The reason for the 1 star for service is because I observed the most unprofessional behavior from the bartender/host, in which I will discuss with the owner. overall the food is so good I’m going back to address it only because I want to have a reason to order more food lol now if I get distracted by the dejavu wings it’s not my fault for the inaccurate review!!! Just know they gave me 8 wings instead of 6 wings to keep me quiet

I took my fiancé to this restaurant wanting to show her how amazing my culture is as an Haitian, and I am absolutely dumbfounded this restaurant was nothing how it shows in the picture. When me and my fiancé walked in there were barely no where to sit, they put me and my fiancé in a little seat the seats were ripped with tape and it took forever for the waiter to come. Either me and my fiancé walked into the wrong restaurant or they went bankrupt within a mouth, it look nothing like the picture from a month ago. I am extremely disappointed as a “Black owned Business”, they could have done so much better.

First, love to this restaurant for being black owned and having something for the Haitian community in Harlem. All criticism to help elevate the space. Nothing more.
1) one person was servicing on the day I went. It took entirely too long for food to drop on the table.
2) the food —- rice was a small amount. Gravy had no taste. It tasted like tomato sauce from the can. Not enough pickles and the goat tastes old. Something was off about it.
3) liquor was a “special” but it left me with a headache the next day which tells me they are using bottom well alcohol.
4) lastly, the frustration of my evening was the hookah. I was at the bar eating and they started smoking as I was trying to enjoy my dinner. I actually ended my meal early and rushed out of there.
Overall it just needs better management and HAITIAN cooks. Can’t do that to the Haitian community. people know good Haitian food versus just trying to get over.
I hope I can come back and update this review. I am rooting for you guys!
