The food is always good & fresh , but you don’t get good customer service (with some) unless you’re Hispanic with the Hispanic workers. They don’t smile or greet you. Just stand there and look at you as if you’re inconveniencing them, instead of asking “how can I help you.” Also at other locations, I’ve ALWAYS gotten ranch free instead of gravy for my tenders at no extra charge but this location tries to charge me every time.

I placed an online order on yesterday to be picked up at 5:15 pm for my favorite comfort food fried okra. I expected my order to be ready and waiting as I arrived at 5:20 pm. I didn’t have a problem too much with the fact that the order wasn’t ready but I have an issue with the fact that the okra I received was almost burnt and very hard and smelled and tasted like they were fried in old grease!!! I was so pissed I threw it all away!!!! This is not the first time I’ve ordered from this location because it’s near where I work so I was extremely disappointed in the service I received. While standing at the counter waiting to be helped there was another employee that came in behind the counter and you’d think he would’ve asked if he could help me but yet stared me in my face and said nothing. This is not the first time I’ve been ignored, and I do think this is the same employee as last time. I will not spend my money here anymore. I normally order 3-4 times a week. DO BETTER!!!!!

I usually never review but the workers here are really rude and unprofessional. I ordered food to dine in and while waiting for the food one of the female workers comes to give us our food and practically throws it on the table and it lowkey almost fell on my boyfriend and I. As she walked away she told us to have a good day with an attitude and we just sat there in awe because it was unprovoked since we had no interaction with said worker.

I was very disappointed with my recent visit to the Golden Chick off Highway 80 in Mesquite (inside Walmart). I arrived 15 minutes before the official closing time, so I assumed I could still purchase fresh food. However, when I asked what time they start closing up, a staff member told me they begin packing up at 9:30 PM. That meant all the food on display had already been sitting out for at least 15 minutes, and was likely was going to sit out for another 15 minutes before actual closing.
The stale appearance of the food was immediately obvious as I walked up to the counter, and I turned around and left, disappointed and still hungry. It’s not acceptable to present visibly old food just because you’re still technically open. If fresh options are off the table that close to closing time, Golden Chick needs to either shut down the service earlier or clearly communicate that only leftover food is available.
Customers deserve transparency and quality right up until the doors close.

Honestly you might as well just go to an actual golden chick in its own building I ordered two 6 pc chicken tenders meals and usually the ranch comes in a big container that you can actually dip your chicken into aswell I got this small itty bitty ranch and the chicken tastes like it’s been sitting there forever and it was cold so probably will not be going aaci to this golden chick

Went here to buy 2 chicken sandwiches togo. When I got home, found out they gave me the wrong order, even though I asked if it’s 2 sandwiches. That’s why only 2 stars. The food is good.

I went to this Golden Chick and I have to say it was the best fast food restaurant I’ve been to. I have to give a shout out to Beto and his team they were wonderful I walked in and was greeted with a happy Easter and was asked how I was doing they are great people working. The service was fast and tasty by far the hardest working employees I seen.Will be coming again!
