10/10 – service, food and atmosphere!
We ordered the kingfish sashimi, pork belly, market fish, octopus skewers, wagyu flank, rice, butter lettuce and hojicha mousse for dessert. We drank the blueberry whisky sour and the pineapple sour – delicious.
Huge shout out to THE GUY ON THE HIBACHI – BRO KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING . We can’t wait to visit again! Also can I get a plate of the mochi in Beurre Blanc sauce PLS.

Future future has been on our list of food places to try for a while. The menu is typical of a new age Japanese or Asian fusion restaurant, playing on the ever so popular Sandos and Wagyu.

The Hero dish was definitely the Wagyu flat . Super soft and cooked to perfection. The Agedashi Tofu and the Kari butter were interesting. Not really sold on the Kari butter.

Perhaps the most disappointing were the Sandos. The scallops were big and juicy but the Sando felt more like a nice fillet o fish than a boujee sandwich. Same for the meatballs – it was very very meaty in flavour. The long green beans were undercooked and raw but strangely also nicely charred and smoked.

Overall, future future was good but a few of the dishes were not up to expectations. The day was saved with the excellent Wagyu though!

– House baked sourdough shokupan, honey glaze, kare butter $15 ⭐️
– Hotate (scallop) sando, wasabi mayo, pickled cucumber $16 EA
– Udon, calamari, white sesame, fermented crispy chili, garlic oil, fried leek, spring onion $29 ⭐️
– Pork chashu, sansho lardo, soy jus $30
– Tiramiso, Meyer lemon, Yuzu, white chocolate crumb $16
– Melon Cream Highball $24 ⭐️
– Midnight Highball $24 ⭐️

Came here for a chill lunch and was really impressed. The flavours were spot on—balanced and thoughtful,
with every dish executed beautifully. The shokupan was a standout: golden, crispy on the outside, and super fluffy inside. The honey glaze and curry butter combo was addictive. Another favourite was the udon. The calamari had the perfect texture and paired so well with the noodles. The garlic oil and fermented chili brought loads of flavour without being too overpowering.

Their cocktails are creative and fun—I loved the Melon Cream and Midnight Highballs.

Prices are definitely on the higher side, but if you’re in the area, it’s worth checking out.

Here for a light meal before a concert, and the food came out slower than I would prefer, sad that I had to cancel the hibachi wagyu flank after ordering it for 45mins, because I was running late. However, I must say the food was pretty on point, my favourite was the tuna cold dish that was served with creamy tofu puree.

We adored our lunch here. The food was delicious, innovative and perfectly presented. We had the chef’s menu option and it was a triumph paired with a gorgeous German riesling. Every dish was a taste and textural delight. Our perhaps surprising favourite was the pumpkin agedashi. We had never tasted anything like it and found it quite thrilling. Service was excellent throughout. This was a lovely experience, and not just because it was a birthday gift. We had an excellent time here and would happily return anytime

We booked a room for my wife’s birthday half a year ago. Simply put, everything was perfect!
Bookings were responsive. The waitresses did an excellent job. We were given a room with TV and a balcony. After our time was up, they kindly let us stayed longer at the balcony for birthday cake.
Food was great and the customer service was top notch. They gave us a very memorable birthday. Thanks.
