I’ve been in Vermont for about 3 years. This was hands down the best service I’ve gotten in the entire state. Everyone here is genuinely nice and friendly, and takes great care of you. The food was amazing, and you get a large portion for under $20. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone I know.

Tables are weirdly sticky, but I think that’s just whatever finish is on them… they don’t seem dirty. Food is nothing to write home about but it certainly is good enough to spend the money and make the drive if you don’t want to cook. Could be better but could be WAY worse. Overall, a generally good place to eat. Definitely can get really crowded on some nights – and it’s a small space with a lot of tables packed in. You don’t come here for a quiet, private dining experience, that’s for sure.

Super comfortable clean cozy home family atmosphere you just don’t find anymore. Amazing cheerful staff (amazing owner). The food is soooo tasty. Something for everyone in the group. All in all, just a relaxing experience on every level. Thank you Papa Nick’s!

Really, really tried to get this place a second chance. Ordered the “homemade Lasagna “. It comes with a very small side salad and a little cup of dressing. I mentioned to the waitress I may need extra dressing as that is what I like and she replied you get a 2 oz. Serving that should be plenty. What they gave us was a mess. I have never in my life seen Lasagna served this way and the taste was nothing short of tasting like canned pasta. Overall not a good experience

I had the best chicken parm I’ve ever had in my entire life here at Papa Nicks. The service was fantastic, I truly felt like family. I only wish they sold the marinara by the jar so I could bring it back to Brooklyn with me.

For my husband’s and my date night we chose papa nicks..I was pretty disappointed by our dinner..I had ordered the chopped steak and mashed potatoes with no gravy and a salad..my plate was covered in gravy..our waitress said it was an easy fix and offered me a fresh scoop of potatoes..which didnt fix it! our salads which was suppose to be an appetizer didnt arrive until we were almost done our dinner..which was also disappointing! Our waitress stated that in her defense our dinners came out quicker then she expected! Our salads had 1 cherry tomatoe, 1 piece of cuc and 1 piece of pepper all the rest was lettuce..no cheese or croutons.. not to mention a very small portion of ranch to go with it..we were also never offered a refill on our sodas..this was the 2nd time we have had a bad experience needless to say we wont be back

This is an all time family favorite restaurant. My favorite meal here is their pizza but the fried shrimp (or clams) is fantastic. The tables have been refinished, the service is very friendly and the wait is not long.

A small town diner/restaurant/ice cream stand the way in should be. About as friendly as one could find with great food like grandma used to serve. Tables filled with both local families and old friends. Put it on your list!

Not much good to say here. They seem to have local following. While we were there, there didn’t seem to be any effort to wash tables. The table we were at was sticky, but we ordered anyway. Bean burger overcooked, bun microwaved. Coleslaw was more soup than substance. Ham club was ok, but barely. Seriously one of the worst places we’ve ever been to.

Very good. Love the Greek salad with chicken. So delicious. Service is always friendly and quick. Pizza is also very good along with appetizers. They have a creemee stand in the summer as well as breakfast. Great little local spot and very family friendly. There are always different specials listed which seems delicious.
