The Cafeteria in the Medical Center has a wide variety of food options. There are multiple hot bars with pizzas, hot goods like chicken and pulled pork with different sides, a taco bar, a salad bar, cold drinks, coffee, desserts as well. Prices are good and food is fairly good as well. Can get really busy during lunch window when everyone comes to eat. Large seating area that is mostly clean.

For a place to get some good food for a reasonable price, especially if you’re stuck in the hospital for testing, visiting, working, etc.? Great.
The salad bar was surprisingly nice, especially given that at first glance it’s rather small. They had an apparently rotating assortment of specialty toppings, in this case fruits and nuts, making for quite a pleasant salad.
The lunch rush was quite overwhelming. It’s surprising that Med Center apparently does not stagger meal breaks (or not enough). As a frequent customer of the diagnostic imaging facilities, I will definitely be sure to time my meals slightly off that hour.
As a medically gluten-free customer, I was disappointed. I don’t expect them to go out of the way to provide me with gluten free food options – I realize they can’t possibly account for every possible dietary need, I do expect them to KNOW. Especially as a health care facility! Why can’t they tell me if the fries are gluten free?

It can be a little overwhelming the first time you walk in, but that’s only because of how many options there are. The food was much better than you might expect from a ‘cafeteria’, and the prices were very reasonable.
My mother is gluten-free, and although they can’t guarantee there’s no cross-contamination (so be extra careful if you have Celiac), my mother got a salad and sweet potato fries and had a great time. I had the burger and a slice of pizza, and was equally pleased.
