Great food and super quick service! We ordered a Navajo taco and a beef stew and they came in literally 5 minutes. The beef stew came with an Indian bread and honey on the side . It was delicious by itself , as I ate half with the stew and half with the honey as a dessert. The Navajo Taco was also delicious and full of so much toppings. The server was nice and the inside of the restaurant seemed so authentic. Definitely stop by if you pass by. The prices are so good as well, $11.00 for a stew is unbelievable. One thing to mention is that they do not serve alcohol in case you are craving a beer or so.
To get to the restaurant, you’ll have to pass by their enormous area filled with so many attractive souvenirs. Wow!

Cameron Trading Post Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was genuinely tasty and very affordable. I really like the Navajo fried bread! There’s also a huge gift shop that’s fun to browse. A perfect stop before heading to the Grand Canyon.

Decided to stop in after the Grand Canyon. This place has a large gift shop connected to the restaurant. Plenty of parking. We ordered several different meals. All were subpar at best. My son took one bite of his Navajo Taco and didn’t take another bite. Large quantity but poor quality. The taco should have been taken off the bill, but that did not happen. We would not return there again.

We stopped by the Trading Post Restaurant during our road trip, and it was a great experience. The taco salad, potato skins, and chicken were all delicious — fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The staff was friendly and professional, which made the whole experience even better. As a New Yorker and a true foodie, I don’t hand out 5 stars easily — but this place earned it.!

Nice little pit stop spot in the area, I ordered the bread pull apart appetizer and the Navajo Taco, both were very well. Unless you can eat a lot, I would suggest ordering the Navajo Taco as a shared entree, it is a big size. The gift shop was very cool as well.

The Navajo Tacos were good but pretty heavy. They brought out a really burnt Jalapeño Poppers and we had to ask them to re-do it. The service is okay, but they were pretty rude before we complained.

We made a stop at the Cameron Trading Post Restaurant just to try their food—and wow, we’re so glad we did! Totally fell in love with their Navajo fried bread and beef stew. It was seriously one of the most comforting and flavorful meals we’ve had on our road trip. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and really well made.

Big shoutout to Daven, one of the staff members—he went out of his way to help us. We had our 5-month-old with us, and he brought over a car seat holder so we could actually sit and enjoy our meal in peace. It might seem like a small gesture, but for tired parents, it meant a lot. He was so kind and thoughtful, and it really added to the experience.

The view from the restaurant is also beautiful—it has this quiet, scenic vibe that just makes you want to sit and soak it all in. And honestly, for how good the food was, the prices felt super affordable, which was a nice surprise.

If you’re driving anywhere near the area, definitely stop by. Great food, great service, and a beautiful setting—it checked all the boxes for us.

Our recent stay at the Cameron Trading Post was highlighted by the delicious food offered in the Dining Room.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was authentic – a fantastic representation of the local offerings and traditions – all at a fantastic and fair price.

The Dining Room reflects the architectural beauty of the Southwest … surrounded by beautiful Navajo weavings, sand paintings, and other works of art!!

Great meals offered for dinner AND breakfast.

First of all, please ignore the review about this place being a tourist trap. I grew up in a small town north of here and Cameron would be the highlight of the trip, anytime we had to venture south. My review is timeless. I’ve just come to visit again for the first time in over 30 years. My, has it expanded; the gift shop and the restaurant area but, ohhh, was the food as DELICIOUS as ever! I got the Navajo stew and The 89 dessert fry bread too. I’m tempted to go in and get seconds as I write this. Cameron and the Trading Post and Restaurant are pure America. Real America. From the best incense in the world, the beautiful flute I just bought, the gorgeous art and jewelry, to the MUST try fry bread and other fantastic Indigenous cuisine, it’s simply a shame if you miss this gem of a place. Cameron, you’ll forever be in my heart. I missed you greatly and I promise I won’t stay away for so long in the future. ✨
