In 1978, Jet’s Pizza founder Eugene Jetts was about to buy a new home. But on the way there, his passion for pizza took over. Instead, he signed a lease on a space that would become the first Jet’s location. Along with his brother and partner John, they opened the doors to Jetts Party Shoppe & Pizzeria in Sterling Heights, MI. The pizza world would never be the same. Did some research before coming to Phoenix and there were sooo many people who said I had to try Jet’s. I got a slice to see what that Detroit style pizza was like… OMG!! It was so crunchy, crispy, and delicious. GET THE SLICE. I also ordered a pan cheese with garlic seasoned crust (that was missing – bummer). It needed some umph… the sauce was tasty! That was the best part of the pizza. Definitely check this place out. Order online for extra discounts!

1. Pizza took 2 hours to deliver from the time of order.
2. I ordered a popcorn chicken bacon ranch and got the popcorn chicken Hawaiian.
3. We asked for garlic crust, we got plain flavored crust.
4. Called them twice with no reason excuses from them why our pizza had not been delivered.
5. Never will order from this establishment again.

Had the meaty 8 corner pizza and it was pretty good. It was very well done with good ingredients and crispy just like I want it, nice Detroit style pizza!! What was really terrible was the service. I got there on time to pickup my order and was met with a very ill tempered hostess which did not even bother to say hi or greet me back when I said hi and just threw my order at the counter in front of me and left without saying one word…. Very rude and very unprofessional…… overall good pizza a little overpriced but terrible service!!

Jet’s has superb pizza. Really top notch. It is a take out only. Service is very, very long. We were quoted 30 minutes when we ordered but took over an hour to get. Had to camp out in front for 20 minutes. They are always running behind. But they make excellent pizza and are popular so I guess it comes with the territory. It’s a bit higher priced but worth it for the quality of the pizza.

The traditional deep dish pizza is phenomenal. I also get the cauliflower crust pizza which is a thin crust and I enjoy it. The topping are delish, the sauce is flavorful and the cheese is plentiful.
