Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Our cashier Analysa S. was EXCEPTIONALLY GREAT! Friendly, smiling, glad to be there. You could tell she liked her job and made us feel welcome! Bravo! A positive attitude is everything. Great team player! ( of course the burger and fries were yummy!)

I was excited about getting the chicken fajita taco back for limited time. But I got disappointed of it, I spent almost $8 for each “taco” and taste like trash, it’s not even grilled chicken as it says in the menu!!

In a war of Burger chains, I wanted to see what the Whataburger hype was about. If I’m being honest, it didn’t taste any different than Burger King. The atmosphere was OK. But just kind ok at best.
As far as the service goes, there was a guy at the register who was kind of annoying to the customers. I felt like he did a little bit too much telling his life story to customers who were kind of just appeasing the conversation. I mean, he was a nice guy, but the only critique that I would give him is sometimes “less is more.“

I had a DoorDash pickup at this location for a 3 piece chickens tender meal just before 2:15. I left at about 3:10 after an unprovoked confrontation with the manager on duty. Reference “Maurissa Bennett” on Facebook. The manager was upset bc I inquired about the order in which they’re preparing the dash orders. When I first arrived the man on board told the young man at the register “aye let me know when DoorDash orders get here bc I’m not making them until they get here”. Yet, I was there almost an hour and others just as long. This was even after it slowed down drastically. The manager said they prioritize orders that are there beforehand, yet there were people showing up long after in spurts receiving their food before all of us. Yes I’m with DoorDash, yet, I’m still there in store waiting as if I had ordered it myself. The manager was already defensive and had a whole attitude! There were dashes that had been sitting AT LEAST thirty minutes that none of the 5+ people in store waiting for dashes were there for. There is a pickup rack behind the counter where they had been sitting the dashes if not handing them directly out. When I inquired about my order she “guessed” that this particular meal had been sitting in the back under the kitchen area. Yet, still handed it out as is. Then as I was walking out she yelled to me “and when you comeback we will not be serving you”. And yelled to the back staff, “if she comes back do not serve her”. Why?! Yall just ban whoever. Unprofessional at its finest, store was dirty, people arguing in the kitchen. Whataburger PCB do better!

As usual, Whataburger comes through with flying colors! Clean, great service, courteous employees, great food…and these groovy 75th anniversary cups for only .50 each! They haven’t failed me yet.

Honestly, I love Whataburger as an establishment. However, this location is just terrible. The last few times i’ve been things have always been slow, wrong, and just idiotic. It started off when I ordered my usual burger with bacon, no condiments, no cheese. The lady then repeated and said, “so no cheese?” I again replied no, but alas, cheese on my burger. Luckily I noticed before we left. The second time happened when I ordered a sweet tea. It came out unsweetened and honestly tasted rancid. I told them this is unsweet and they remade it, however it still had that rancid taste with little sugar. The last straw was today when I again asked for my usual burger and the guy repeated what came on it and asked if thats what I wanted and I said “Yes without the mustard.” I get home to eat my burger and find mustard all over it. I understand I should have checked but sometimes you just done have time. Keep in mind every time Ive went in the past month it’s been extremely long wait times, they make me pull ahead and sit there for minutes. Just not worth going to this Whataburger.

First time EVER at a Whataburger. Wendy’s used to be my favorite fast food burger but now it’s WHATABURGER. Great food and portion sizes just right. A MUST stop for sure.
Now why can’t they have one or many of these in the Washington DC area? Pretty please.

We arrived in the area for work rather late, this location was in close proximity to where we were staying Friday night. Someone was in the lobby cleaning the entire team ate. The food was fresh with nothing forgotten, including the sauces. The most impressive part was the gentleman at the front greeting every guest. Upon leaving, he would ask how everything was. This is the customer service that is becoming rare, but we need more like him.

Today’s work day was exceptionally challenging and after work I stopped to grab something to eat. When I went in I was greated right away, the manager Emma was working with her team and calling out orders to make sure everyone was taken care of in the lobby, this experience has made my day way better.
