J Sushi knows how to do it right. We stopped in for lunch when we got to California and it was so good we came back the next day. We tried a few rolls, nigiri, udon, and some of their fried options. Everything came out fast, fresh, and full of flavor. Clean, balanced, and delicious from start to finish.
The Vibe:
Casual, comfortable, and welcoming. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or an easy dinner. Simple décor, friendly faces, and great food which is exactly what you want from a neighborhood sushi place.

Our medical office orders from J Sushi weekly for lunch and they always get the orders correct. Really appreciate the sauces and condiments included & offer extra. Great Value for groups!
We enjoy J Sushi even more on our own.
Service is very fast. Customer Service has always been excellent. As disabled person will always return due 2 considerations that they help with. Handicap ♿ Parking upfront.
Highly Recommend the Locally inspired menu items. Again the names are super cool. Great for families, groups, and they can scale up to cater. Interior very clean and well kept.
Very popular option out of so many from old Towne Orange area…& being right across street from CHOC & other majorHealthCare Institutions plus surrounding medical services community. Great location that is easy to see from street.

First time eating here. Can’t speak for the service because we had it door dashed, but it came very fast. The rolls were super delicious. The beef bowl was good, but the meat is boiled and you can tell by the taste and texture. It would really be better if they grilled the meat or cooked it in a pan. I also wish they gave extra sauce as I ran out before I was done with my food. Other than that. For the price everything was pretty delicious and I will definitely try them again.

I’ve ordered takeout a few times. I’ve tried Power of Sea and Iron Monkey Roll roll. Both were delicious and tasty and filling.
I recently had The Las Vegas role and the Tonkotsu Ramen. The Las Vegas roll wasn’t bad. But the ramen could have been better. But I shouldn’t be surprised. You get what you pay for. But I was still hoping the ramen would have been better than my expectations.
The toppings were tasty. The noodles were okay. But the broth tasted a little better than a can of soup. I’ve had better ramen with tastier broth at other establishments.
This broth tasted slightly better than old soup from a can. I could not finish it.
I will not get the ramen again. But so far I love the sushi rolls.

This is a really great place. They always have fresh sushi and sometimes I ask for things that are not on their menu and they still do it. That’s very kind. Most restaurants wouldn’t even bother. I always order my food to go so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere but it’s pretty chill. If I had to give a critique the only thing I would like to see in the future would be more variety or different type of sushi pairings with fish. But yeah, fresh food. Great service. Great quality. Fair prices. Pretty good.

Hello, I went to the one in prayer before so when I first went in there last Thursday was very disappointing. Customer service wasn’t on point at all. The waitress was very rude to me and my friend was there. Food is great, but customer service needs to be better. Also, you don’t have great deals like another locations. I wish you all could be the same Like I said again very disappointing.

First Timer! My friend brought me & she used the words ‘inexpensive & quality’ in the same sentence which is my favorite for sushi.
We were seated & greeted immediately. I love when you walk in & you are greeted with a smile, it makes such a big difference for me.
We ordered two miso soups which came out almost immediately & 3 rolls which were thick & beautiful. Sometimes when you go to ‘inexpensive’ sushi spots the rolls are really small but here they were beefy. We got full with three rolls surprisingly. Definitely will be coming back! It’s by the Outlets of orange & Main place which I like because I don’t like mall food.
Parking: was able to find parking but I can see the layout of the lot being an issue if it gets really busy.

We ordered sushi from here. My Rainbow SPT had spicy tuna inside (not on menu), the salmon lover was inedible, the extra masago was missing, the avocado roll was “mushy and tasteless” (quoting my wife). My tuna sashimi was not great. Gyoza was good though. Worst sushi I’ve had, including gas station/grocery store sushi in 25 years.
