We went around 1p and got seated decently fast for our group of 7 (about 20 mins wait) – the seating area was ok in size. Food came out pretty fast after we placed our order on the ipad. Personally, I’m not fond of the food but my group really liked it. The adults thought the BBQ pork was really fatty so ask for a less fatty one if you don’t want half fat half meat. But the kids really loved the BBQ pork that we ordered two servings. The clay pot rice was really oily.

The beef brisket and cheong fun hot pot at this restaurant is truly excellent—it gives me the taste of hometown! The sour cabbage fish is also above average!! The hot and sour noodles, however, were just okay and lacked flavor… The spicy hand-shredded chicken was also very good!! If I ever have the chance to pass by this area, I will definitely come back to eat here!! This is the only Chinese restaurant in the Bay Area that I would revisit.

The food at this restaurant is quite good, but the service from the waitress needs improvement. As paying customers, we come here expecting both quality food and attentive service. We’re here to enjoy a meal—not to feel like we’re a burden.

No service. They give you an iPad to order from so good luck. If you already know what to get, and simply want to order at the counter they won’t let you.
By far the worst congee I’ve ever had; undercooked slimy fish with the skin on – they use the worst cuts of fish from the head area and it’s beyond unappetizing. It had a suspiciously funky smell too. We had two spoonfuls and left. Never again.

The food was delicious! But I felt like the waitress was very rude to me. I paid a meal for 2 nearly $67 and I tipped $6. She insisted I tip at least 15%! I tipped about 14% or 9$ and she did not say thank you. She looked away in disappointment. I will not come here again, unfortunately.

I have been there for a few times. Customer service and food taste were better at the beginning. Now, foods are very salty and service is bad. Their bill suggests you to give a tips of 18%, 20% or 22%. When you give a 15%, they might ask you for more. Yet they don’t refill your water. That happened to us last time. I will never go their again. I think this is a Chain Restaurant. They top management should train their servers what is “customer service”? For example, their servers talk while bringing out the food! Their saliva falls into the food!

Most ridiculous experience ever !

We arrived around 11am when there weren’t too many people, ordered our food and patiently waited for over half an hour. Only one dish came so we asked for our food. The servers all told us to wait until it was already 50 mins past.

We were extremely hungry and all tables came in after us got their food… Then they realized they didn’t even send our order to the kitchen. (like WHAT????)

What’s their solution? NONE. Saying they can’t just add our order in, so we’ll only have to wait until they finish all of their existing orders, then us. Huh??????

Worst place ever. Hope they close sooner with their attitude and operation like this.

I came here to buy roasted duck, pork, and cha-siu because I thought it was the store from before (Hing-long).
The duck wasn’t fresh, even my husband who is not a picky eater I could taste it had gone bad; and the rest was also mediocre. Not coming back for their roasted food for sure.

Food tastes fine but way too oily for all three orders we took (the one not in the photo was hakka chicken).

We went at 4:30pm, got a table right away. Ordered our food on a handheld device with picture and price listed by category. It’s two restaurants in one location. We ordered the signature fermented veggie fish pot and a stone pot spare ribs over rice. Both came quickly. The waitress even reminded us to be careful with the super hot stone pot. It was nice of her. We were also served with both hot tea and ice water. The fish pot was excellent. Yes, it has a layer of oil on top, that is for keeping the soup hot so that the thin fish filets can cook thoroughly as you eat. The stone pot rice was also good. It has 饭燋a layer of slightly burnt rice around the edge of the pot. Perfect. Portion was big enough for three but only cost $42 for the two of us.
