Loved El Avion! My husband and I went for dinner twice on our trip, the first night I got a burger and fries and it was cooked perfectly. The second night I had the fish sticks and fries with tartar sauce and frozen lemonade and it was great. The servers both night were so attentive and great. You will see sooooo many animals during dinner too and the most beautiful sunsets and that is just the icing on top:)

One of my favorite restaurants in Manuel Antonio! The staff is very kind, the views are amazing and the food is great. We were here at sunset and it had a great view. We got many beautiful photos here. I had the grilled chicken breast and a strawberry colada, both were delicious. Also was fun watching the monkeys play while having dinner.

We stopped at El Avión on our way back from Manuel Antonio National Park to take shelter from a tropical rain shower, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy the ocean views — and it was totally worth it. The food was good, and the setting is what really makes this place stand out. The way they’ve integrated the old airplane into the restaurant’s structure is incredibly unique and gives the whole place so much character. Combined with the beautiful views over the Pacific, it makes for a memorable stop. A great place to pause, refuel, and soak in the scenery.

One of the best meals I had while in Costa Rica. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and was as good as most filets I’ve had in the states.
The atmosphere was great with the view of the ocean on one side, and the vintage was plane in the dining area. Our grandkids really loved walking through the plane and sitting up in the cockpit.
It was very close to the Manuel Antonio National Park which made it a great place to stop and have a nice, early supper after our day in the park.

A great place for lunch with the kids.
The view is amazing overlooking the ocean. The kids enjoyed going in the cockpit of the plane. Definitely a unique experience.
Good gluten free options. The fajitas, nachos, and salads were good. The lemonade was also very good.

Nachos were incredible! They come without cheese for vegans but the guacamole, salsa and beans were super tasty. We had the poke bowl and fried rice as well – both really tasty and large portions. The view here is absolutely stunning, a must visit just for this. They do have a separate vegan section in the menu but it doesn’t include every vegan option in there (the fried rice and linguine are in the main sections).

Great pasta and papaya milkshake. This being an instagram famous location, you can see spike in food prices. This is in Quepos area and has great views and ambience. There is a guy who helps with the parking. Service was quick. We also had tres leches dessert which was okay. We were greeted by squirrel monkeys and a monkey wanted cherry from the dessert so that was funny and a bit struggling. We also saw an iguana right below.

Great experience. Our food was great and affordable. The restaurant has really amazing views if you get a seat on the terrace. There was a black iguana right off the terrace in a tree that was exciting for the kids to see. The plane is a cool feature and customers can climb into the cockpit and explore a bit.

Wonderful lunch — the view is stunning. The service is okay. Some waiters wonderful and some others … not super smiley and helpful.
The food was good. And everything makes it great with the plane and the monkeys all around . Great experience .

Absolutely beautiful view of the ocean in an open air dining room surrounded by various palm trees! Our food was great and in large portions. We were entertained by seeing a large sloth in the distance and a whole troop of white faced capuchin monkeys stealing sugar packets. A must stop on your visit to the Manuel Antonio Park!
