Such a good spot, all the food was absolutely delicious. The prices are fair and well worth it. The ladies running the place are fantastic, super kind. When I’m in the area again, I’ll be back

Came up to Broken Bow for my 40th birthday. Tacos are my birthday lunch of choice always and we came upon this place. Hands down some of the best tacos I’ve ever had and thats coming from someone who lives in a town that has taco places on every corner. Loved the food, loved the beautiful girl who served us. I knew I came to the right place when I saw her in a Selena shirt. This place is definitely better than the other taco place we saw. 100/10 recommend.

We just ordered from La Cocina de Maria, and everything was delicious! The tacos were fresh and flavorful, packed with quality ingredients. The seasoning was just right, and the tortillas were perfect. The food came out quickly, and the service was friendly. Definitely a great spot if you’re in Broken Bow—highly recommend!

As a local, this is the most disappointing taco I’ve ever had. Carne asada shouldn’t be mushy and overly greasy. La parilla was closed, so I thought we would give this place a try. Their large salsa is overpriced for what you get, the frescas and lemonade aren’t worth the price either. I won’t be back. Edit: salsa is HOT not mild.

Listen, if you’re in the area this is the place to go. Tons of Mexican food in the area, they are all the same. Not this one!!! Great food, service, and atmosphere. Can’t recommend enough. We live about 10-15 minutes away and it’s well worth the trip.

I had previously left a 5 star review. However today’s visit was a huge shift in quality and service. Tacos was pure fat hardly any edible meat. I ordered guacamole easy tomato it was all tomato easy avocado. I was told 5-10 minute pick up time. I arrived 12 minutes after the call was placed, and waited ten minutes with one car on the lot.

Delicious! I got Al pastor and carnitas (regular size not the mini ones). My husband had the same thing. There’s a covered porch with a small amount of seating, which was nice to be out of the sun while we waited. Plenty of picnic tables as well. Great service.

We stopped in because it looked very inviting, and I’m sure for folks who don’t eat a lot of Mexican food, this place might seem pretty good. However, the Carne Asada was a huge disappointment. Honestly, it fooled us at first — we thought they had accidentally given us ground beef. It was wet, mushy, and ground up to the point it almost looked like taco meat rather than traditional Carne Asada. If you’re a true taco connoisseur, I’d recommend skipping the Carne Asada altogether.

Be sure to double-check your order before leaving. We placed a very basic, simple order, and they still managed to get parts of it wrong. Most of the tacos were decent, but nothing worth raving about.

I’d also skip the Fresca Agua. What they called “limeade” was basically a large cup of water with a splash of lime — definitely not the bold lime flavor you expect from a proper limeade. At $5, it was essentially an overpriced glass of flavored water.

Bottom line: if you’re just looking for a quick bite and aren’t particular, this place will work in a pinch. But if you’re a foodie who’s used to authentic food trucks or higher-quality Mexican food, you may want to pass on this one.

Service was great, they were willing to answer any questions we had about the menu. We got the barbacoa and pastor tacos. It was really good so we decided to order some tamales to go for later. Aqua frescas was refreshing, I got the watermelon and my boyfriend got the cherry limeade. Definitely convenient and dog friendly, all seating are outdoor. Highly recommend this place!
