I don’t understand how this place doesn’t have more than 4.5 stars. We were on a roadtrip on a Sunday night, so most of the restaurants were closed. I’m so grateful we came across Sol Azteca. The food was amazing! Super tasty and fresh. And we got it SO fast. Whoever is reading this review, don’t hesitate, go now!!!!! Burrito & Fajitas ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I ordered the Texas fajitas and requested some substitutions (no tomatoes, add mushrooms). The server happily obliged. They also did not mind that we brought our own gluten free chips. The food was some of the best we’ve had. If we lived closer we would come here quite frequently. The rice was flavorful and not dry. The cheese dip was top notch and the shrimps in my fajitas were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended!!

Okay I see you Atlanta ! I was passing by, I am from California and was craving enchiladas verdes. I saw another lady comment they were very good. So decided to tell my husband to pull the 18 wheeler find parking to take me .The waitress was friendly and eager to help! Was thrown off because they charge me $1.06 for salsa but anyway the enchiladas were so good! Not spicy but we’re flavorful. The tortilla was soft and tasted very good not regular corn tortillas! The chicken was seasoned so good! The restaurant smells so good! I will definitely be coming back! You guys earned a
customer!

I had the Al Pastor taco special and my mom had the chicken fajita quesadilla. We ordered guac and cheese dip as well. The food was delicious, staff super friendly, and service very timely. I was surprised how delicious the Al Pastor tacos were and their quac. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, kind of plain and drab. Could use some colorful murals, more textures, and some decorative charm but otherwise— purely based on food (bc why else to go you to a restaurant) it was great.

I dropped by Sol Azteca Mexican Grill recently for dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised by how warm and welcoming it felt. The moment I walked in the atmosphere struck me: casual, colorful, and inviting — the kind of spot where you don’t feel like you need to dress up. There’s a friendly “come-as-you-are” vibe that makes it perfect whether you’re going solo, with family, or a group of friends.
We started with chips and salsa (the chips came warm), and the salsa had a nice freshness and flavor — a good way to set the tone. For the main course I got fajitas (with grilled meat and veggies), and the sizzling platter came out just right: the meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, the veggies fresh, and tortillas came warm. My friend got enchiladas and rice + beans — everything felt homemade, hearty, and genuine rather than overly fussy. Portions were generous: I left full but not overly stuffed.
What stood out was the balance between flavor and atmosphere. Sol Azteca doesn’t try to be fancy — but it delivers solid, comforting Mexican-style food with personality. The staff were attentive and down-to-earth: drinks got refilled, and we weren’t rushed even though it was a relatively busy night. The noise level and energy were just right: lively enough to feel fun, but still relaxed enough to chat easily.
If you’re craving honest Mexican food — fajitas, tacos, enchiladas, warm tortillas, chips and salsa — in a friendly, no-pretension setting, Sol Azteca hits the mark. I’d go back next time I want good food, fair portions, and a laid-back vibe.

Food was delicious, price very reasonable, servers were very friendly. All the dishes were appetizing, margaritas was good, lots of menu. It was just the table Lil bit dirty, probably because they were short-staffed and these days it’s just what happened and it’s understandable.
I would recommend this restaurant to everyone that loves Mexican food.

One of our go to restaurants. Excellent food and service. Owners and staff are great. Menu options are varied and plentiful. Every dish we have tried, and we have tried many, has been great.

My husband and I are from Southwest Texas and are very critical of the Mexican food served in other states. Sol Azteca is as close as it comes to the delicious meals that we are served back home. My favorites are the chili rellenos or the tacos al pastor! They have a great selection on their menu! It is a must try!!
Chips and salsa is served to everyone to nibble on before their meals. They also have an outside patio and a private room for events.
FYI…This restaurant gets very busy on Sundays after 12.

Food was awesome as always. But honestly, the whole experience was ruined due to our waiter. I would have liked to mention him by name, but he never introduced himself. He approached the table abruptly and startling us while saying “what do you want to drink”, before even being fully at our table. Worst of all, there was an entire ordeal over corn tortillas. By the time I was able to eat, my family had finished their food. The service was horrendous. He was unkind, frantic, rude, and lacked any sense of urgency.
