Food was 10/10. Usually you order shrimp or steak somewhere and there’s veins and the steak isn’t a good cut. This food was authentic as hell and FIREEE. Felt silly trying to pronounce it but sounded it out for the gentleman taking our order to get it. My husband said this is the best Mexican he ever had. He legit had to order a taco to go for later. Service was great, they bring the food out to ya. The tables and decor are super cute. Spent like $50 which we would have at La Casita where the food is bland garbage. We’ll be back! ❤️

Orderd chips and queso. Queso came out of fridge. Couldn’t dip my chips. Asked be warmed up. Came back lumpy and still cold. Chips were stale. And not fresh. This is my first bad experience with this place. Will be going somewhere else.

I’m not a fan of Mexican food but it’s my husband’s birthday and that’s what he wanted. We have never been here before and we dined in. The place is clean and bright and decorated nicely. The staff was super nice, especially when I don’t know what anything is!! I showed her a picture from someone else’s review and what I got was absolutely delicious!!! My husband loves Mexican food and he ordered carne asada fajitas and he couldn’t finish it all!! I ordered Mary y tierra was 100% satisfied. We just found our new fave!! That’s MY knife on the floor. I dropped it. The restaurant is very clean!

Birria tacos are phenomenal, and the burritos are so big I’ve gotten three meals out of them! The salsa bar is delish and so different – never had salsa quite so good and they’ve got kick. The staff are very nice and speak Spanish and English – they know their Mexican food!

If you’re looking for the best Tripas Tacos in Central MN, this is it. Finding a place that does extra crunchy tripas right is a rare win. Most spots serve them soft, but Don Chon gets that deep-fried, crackling texture without them becoming tough—and that’s a real skill. Out of all the Mexican restaurants in St. Cloud, this one wins hands down. Absolutely delicious!

Amazing authentic food! The birria tacos have so much meat in them they don’t even compare to anywhere else. The quesadilla has perfectly melted cheese and it wasn’t greasy at all like other places. The staff was super friendly and knew exactly what to recommend.
