We visited for an early dinner on a Sunday wait time for a table approximately 30 minutes. I passed the time window shopping in the store lol okay I bought a few things but only a few things. After ordering our food arrived in a fair amount of time considering how busy they were. We had a steak and shrimp combo, chicken tenders, coleslaw, turnip greens fried okra macaroni and cheese corn muffins,grits and fries apples. Also had an appetizer of onion pettles and cheese bites. I asked for the steak to be cooked medium rare and it was over well done however I can tell it had a nice season on it but I could not eat it too tough. The fried apples were delicious, grits were somewhat too thin, but the corn muffin was tender yummy. Shrimp was tasty, okra was great so was the turnip greens and coleslaw, chicken tenders were just ‘okay’ however they were moist . Onion petals were delicious and the cheese bites was a bit chewy. The sauce with the onion petals was slightly greasy but flavorful. Spicy maple dip for the tenders was nice. Our waiter Te’Von was delightful and pleasant he made sure we had everything we needed. Peach tea was awesom also came with refills, root beer came in a bottle so I will assume there were no refills for it but it was still enough to carry through the meal. You can order beer and wine however we did not have any. There is a beautiful store in the restaurant with lovely odd little things old school candy and beautiful clothes, and blankets.
They have a slew of Amish made rocking chairs outside the store for purchase which are both sturdy and beautiful.

I’m not sure if they have an app. They have a website that my phone has the email and password saved, so it makes ordering online that much quicker. Sometimes, I don’t want to sit down inside of a restaurant. I’ll get my food to go and eat watching my show. This restaurant has excellent choices. There was this seafood platter that was new, so I gave it a go. It was very delicious. The wait was able half an hour, which was not a problem. If you time it right, you can calculate the drive distance so that when you show up, you simply verify your name and pick up your food. The bag is easy to carry. You don’t have to worry about it tearing off. You get your utensils and toppings such as butter. I would recommend eating here and I would order again soon if possible.

The food and restaurant is always great! My daughter and I really enjoy the food and even the ambiance. I enjoy looking at the old signage and other memorabilia. Our food was spot on as always. I’m a creature of habit and love the fried chicken tenders. I also enjoy the cornbread muffins and the lemonade. There’s plenty of good food to choose from. In my experience, I’ve never had a bad experience!

I had not been to a Cracker Barrel in a few years. I was surprised to see they’ve added liquor/wine to the menu. I had breakfast. It was great. Took a piece of the Coca-Cola chocolate cake to go and I was happy I did. Very moist and fresh. I’ll visit again.

We were thankfully in and out very quickly. We made it in time for the early bird dinner, so there were plenty of appetizing options for $8.99 each. We opted for the homestyle chicken. It comes with 1 piece of chicken instead of the usual 2, but that was more than enough. You still get 2 sides and bread of your choice.
Our server was not great! He was kind but he forgot everything. We ordered our drinks 2x and finally got it on the 3rd try. We asked for our biscuits prior to our meals and received them with the meals. We asked for strawberry jelly with the biscuits that we never received. One of our side items was wrong. Again, nice guy. He just sucked! Honestly, if it hadn’t been for his horrible waitressing, we would’ve gotten out of there way quicker than we did.
The atmosphere was typical CB atmosphere. Nothing stood out. I’m ok with that!

Excellent breakfast food, a surprise for a chain like this. I love their pancakes, especially the blueberry or pecan which is served with warm syrup and butter. The blueberry compote syrup is delicious. I also like the new stuffed pancakes with strawberries, a seasonal special.Come hungry, because it’s a lot of food! Breakfast items are offered all day. Sign up for their rewards points (pegs) which you earn by meals and store purchases!
