Upon entering you will find the cozy coffee shop cafe to have all kinds of seating option from tables to lounge type chairs. The staff is very friendly and open to customizing your coffee exactly the way you like. The pricing is right in line with any quality coffee place. I purchased “the Nini” which is like a Caramel sweet foamy coffee and it was amazing. The also have quite the selection of Swedish pastries made here locally in Oakland. We tried the rhubarb tart and the pecan braid. The owner even offer to warm our pastries and of course we said yes! If you looking for a coffee break or a nice place to visit with some friends this is a great place to visit. A cute Swedish Fika Kafe! “Fika” is a Swedish tradition that involves taking a break to enjoy coffee or tea, and a pastry and engaging in social interaction. Great Coffee and really unique combinations of lattes. My husband tried the cinnamon roll. Said it was best he has had in a long time. Lots of cozy seating areas away from the sound of the kitchen.

Incredible gem in one of the most idyllic towns in Nebraska. Businesses like this opening in small towns like Oakland is what I love to see… Definitely stop by and have a tea, coffee or wonderful pastry. Can’t wait to come back!
