I said k would come back and I am 100% glad I did. I was greeted by a young lady very pleasant and smiling took my seat and she came over with my Sprite and I asked her what do you recommend, I’ve already tried the smash burger, without hesitation she said the brisket sandwich and sidewinders. She was not wrong one of the best brisket sandwiches I have ever had. The sidewinders were hot and crispy with perfect amount of season. I met the owner today he was very enthusiastic and glad I was there. This will be put on my top 5 list to eat at. The food today and the staff were all worth the price. Thank you, I will be back very soon.

A must stop to enjoy great food in a relaxing atmosphere. We come for breakfast every chance we are in town. Truman takes time to come by and check on our food, experience, and share interesting stories such as his mom’s biscuit recipe and where they get their great coffee. They make you feel like the best customer.

After only 4 weeks of dinner service IT IS GREAT. Only going off of my meal, I split the bacon chicken ranch mac and cheese and the loaded fries with brisket, it was wonderful. The fries: crispy. The batter on the chicken: light and beautifully cooked. The brisket: not usually my thing but also very good. The only issue is that I couldn’t eat more!

My first at Truman’s the pulled pork was really good! Nice portions. Excited to have this restaurant downtown Fuquay. They have many options on the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have mimosa and other alcohol choices.

1st visit. Came for brunch after seeing great reviews. Waited about little over an hour for food to arrive. Only 3 tables had patrons outside. 50% capacity inside. Disappointed in food quality after the wait and $62 for 2 people.

We were in town visiting family and decided to stop here for dinner. It’s a cozy place, but they were able to seat the 7 of us. We met the owner and he was especially nice and even mentioned the name of the bakery where they get their bread.
Service was outstanding, several workers asked if we needed anything. They were able to accommodate my wife’s dairy allergy.
Everyone enjoyed their meals. The 3 children all had wings and they raved about them! I had the pulled pork sandwich with delicious onion rings. Two others had the brisket and loved it.
If you like BBQ, I suggest you give this place a try!

Best BBQ and brisket we have had in a long, long time!! It was actually the first night of their dinner opening and it was top notch! They also do breakfast and lunch service. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to visit again!

The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and appreciated.
What made the visit even more special was getting to meet Truman himself. He personally brought our food to the table and took the time to connect with us. He was warm, personable, and clearly takes great pride in his restaurant—and it shows in every detail.

This was our (two couples) first visit to Truman’s. We were greeted and seated right away. The whole food and drink ordering process was quick with the staff being very attentive to our needs. The drinks were all good. I had the Love Bug cocktail that tasted awesome!
We were surprised by how quickly our food arrived! We had an assortment of sandwiches and the BBQ platter, that had generous portions and very tasty. I had the BBQ platter, thumbs up on the smoked sausage, brisket and collard greens.
Truman, the owner, stopped by our table to introduce himself, very classy move. I watched him do this to all the other guest too.

In town for a wedding – I ordered the brisket sandwich very tender moist and flavorful . Others ordered smash burger ( single and double ) chicken Philly and fried chicken sandwich – all excellent. Amazing teamwork not only the waiter but the owner and 2 other staff checked on us on a busy Saturday lunch hour. Very attentive to the food allergy in the group.
