Horrible. It is absolutely the blandest mexican food I’ve had. Portions are tiny. $4.50 a taco no matter what taco is high priced. Go down the street there are great tacos. First time I had it good food. Last two times horrible. Carne Asada was dry and bland. Lengua mushy and bland.

9/26/25 update: Went back tonight (I eat here 1-2x a year now), and it’s as good as ever. Burrito was incredible and the tacos were perfect. Sauces are hot and make everything pop. Will be back more frequently!
Original review: Taste of Cholula isn’t in this location anymore. This review is for the taco truck currently operating out of this location, which I find to be quite a bit better.
The tacos and burritos here are fantastic. The meats are good quality and well prepared. They add a little bit of corn to the burritos, which I find interesting. They also cook the tortillas for the tacos a little more than your standard taqueria. They’re not crispy or greasy, and it definitely makes them better. Portions are middle of the road, and good value for the price.
What really sets this truck apart is how friendly they are. The main guy who runs it always seems happy to see you, and he’s very pleasant to talk to. While it’s pretty rare in my experience to encounter truly bad service at a taqueria or truck, with some it’s clear they could take or leave your business. I don’t hold that against them, because I understand I’m an outsider to their community. But at some places, like this truck, it’s clear they’re happy to have your business and would like for you to come back. I’ve been to this truck a few times, and I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely phenomenal. The man working the window was so cheerful and welcoming. Plenty of parking no matter how busy, which can be hard to find sometimes with food trucks. Food was out in under ten minutes (mind you it was a tuesday night, so give them grace if it’s a weekend and they’re busy). I wish I took a picture of the tacos, but I scarfed them down. Will absolutely be visiting again!

That being said, the burritos were inconsistent. One was crispy, the other was soggy. The chicken and pork were both bland along with the guacamole that was in each burrito.
Reading the other reviews, this may have been a singular occurrence but the food didn’t live up to the hype for my wife and I. If this is a common occurrence, I think simply seasoning the meat and changing guacamole recipes would take the food to the next level.

Amazing taco truck. Good prices and portions, great tasting every time. They do only take cash, which is inconvenient but often the price of doing business. There’s an ATM at the gas station across the street. Worth it!
