I must say, it was an incredible experience! The food was authentically Indian, bursting with flavors that took me right back to India. Taj of Orchard Park highly exceeded my expectations. There are not many Indian food places in the Southtowns so having somewhere close to home that has the best Indian food I have ever had is the best. This restaurant was recommended highly by a coworker so we had to check it out. My husband ordered chicken tandoori, chicken tikka Masala and chicken biryani as takeout and it was all amazing. The food tasted delicious and had so much flavor. The staff was very friendly. We will be back again and will most likely order regularly!

Though the board outside says takeout they have several tables to sit and dine-in. Authentic Punjabi taste and better than many big name restaurants in other bigger cities. Perfect place to stop on the way back from Niagara Falls.

Visited the Taj to order a soup. I mentioned to the owner that I was coming down with a cold. The owner specially made/ prepared a Curry Lamb soup for me and added extra garlic. The establishment cares no only about their delicious food but truly cares for the person ordering the food. I can’t thank them enough for their hospitality. And YES, I’m feeling better already. Blessings!

Everything about the Taj was a great experience. My first time getting food from this restaurant and Jackie made it fun every step of the way! Jackie made me a custom pizza with some of her favorite ingredients and it was delicious! Also had the butter chicken and the rice was cooked perfect and the chicken had such good flavors! Clean establishment, awesome service, and tasty food!! MUST TRY!!❤️

I almost never write reviews, but I was absolutely impressed with the food at Taj. Never would have guessed Indian food located in a quick mart, but it’s a bonus to be able to pick up some items while you wait for your food. And by wait, I mean maybe 10 minutes for a fabulous Lamb Biryani.

Really great Indian food! The sauces are very flavorful. You can tell the chicken has been carefully trimmed; there are no fat chunks or hard parts. The owner was very nice and provided a few recommendations to try.

Very hospitable staff! The food is delicious and in great quantity and fresh quality. So good, definitely became a favorite place and can’t wait to come back and order more menu items. Not Rix, Not Rix quality of food. Apparently it is under new ownership, atleast a year now. Haven’t been there in forever, was looking forward to a Rix breakfast sandwich, Definitely not the same. The roll was very cold. The egg and bacon were good, cheese wasn’t melted. My dog enjoyed the bacon and egg. They really need to get rid of the Rix sign, since that is not what they are. They are an Indian Food place, which reading reviews for that, I may try.
