Good soft serve ice cream. My XL cone hit the spot. Very much a get in get out kinda place, no frills, no seating. Parking is limited but there is free street parking.

This place has one of my favorite twist soft serve combinations, coffee and raspberry. But when I visited most recently it was down and they only had vanilla-chocolate or orange and vanilla. Still good but not why I make a 45 min + one-way trip.

Love love love this place. During the summer I come here once a week to get my soft serve ice cream fix. If you are like me, there is no substitute for soft serve. There portions are huge and even a small is very large!
I always get the small vanilla with rainbow sprinkles. Classic and delicious. The Italian Ice is also very good. I recommend Mango!
In the peak of summer it can get super hot so you might want to ask for a cup with your cone, so everything doesn’t melt off! I’m a cone person myself (I’m constantly trying to keep from dripping the TONS of jimmies they put on all over myself. But so worth it!)
The staff is always friendly and quick so don’t be daunted by the long lines you will see out front. There is no place to sit, so you can either take a short stroll or sit in your car. Montello’s across the street has a few tables out front and they haven’t minded when we go sit there (especially in the evening/night as they are closing down/closed for the night)
Parking is available right out front (though it can get dense with cars and people) so you can also park across the street in Montello’s.
I’m excited to try more of the things they offer, and the food!

Classic roadside stand for desserts and hot sandwiches. A friend recommended their grilled chili dogs, and they did not disappoint! The seared juicy dog was loaded with toppings on a perfectly toasted roll. I haven’t tried the ice cream yet, but the Italian ice was refreshing (though I didn’t expect it to look like a tie-dye explosion).

One of the best ice cream i’ve ever had locally. They were pretty short staffed when I went but the girl who made my ice cream, Bridget, was such a sweetheart and did an amazing job. More staffing would be nice but the pricing was pretty decent, I will definitely be coming back again.

It’s open for the season! I’m so excited I had the best soft serve with the toppings peanut butter and marshmallow sauce! Athena, a kind hearted server, made the Hood vanilla soft serve with an impeccable presentation! I would have taken a pic but it’s all gone! It was so good! Thank you!

Loved this place growing up but something has changed in the last year or two in terms of service. Not sure if new owners or something else.
It feels like a surprise what an ice cream costs every time I go because they don’t list their prices – weird?
Anytime I’ve had an issue there is always defiance in making it right and I’m told “it’s hard to find good employees after COVID.”
I hope I can amend this review at the end of the season based on how this season goes because the ice cream itself is quite good.

Dairy Freeze is all time favorite place to go. Not only for their ice cream which is great. Their food is delicious. Best burgers onion rings, fish dinners are the best. So happy when they open for the season
