Wow this place is 11/10 amazing! We had a perfect night on our post Valentine’s Day celebration! Our server Michael seriously made it the best night for us, he was kind and so hilarious while also being educated on the menu! Michael made the atmosphere extremely welcoming and our experience top tier! The food was delicious and my bf said he had the best espresso martini he’s ever had! We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who’s looking for a relaxing and enjoyable night out!!

Most importantly the food was great! We really enjoyed the Wollensky Salad with the lardons and potato croutons! Great start! The steaks were cooked perfectly to our preferences. Really liked the more casual vibe than many other steakhouses. And if you go, and you should, request to be seated at one of JC’s tables. This gentleman is a real professional! We felt very attended to and got great wine recommendations…you can trust this guy! Great experience! We’ll be back!

Enjoyed the Restaurant Week Meal tonight and we were very happy with our experience! Our server, JC, really made the night special! We sat at a high top. The atmosphere was lively and JC was a real pro! Just the right amount of attentiveness! A real pleasure. The bacon on the salad really put the dish over the top! Our steaks were generously sized and cooked perfectly. Will definitely be back for the atmosphere and service! Bon Appetite!

Smith & Wollensky is our go to for a nice lunch or dinner when in Wellesley. Food is always fresh, delicious, well prepared, service and atmosphere are excellent. The salmon, steaks, sides are always top notch. Try the tiramisu or an espresso martini. Staff is always welcoming and professional. Easy parking in the lot in back of the restaurant or on the street. We always look forward to returning. Smith & Wollensky is A+ !

This was our first time here and it was excellent. It’s certainly on the pricier side but the food was excellent, the service was great, and they have a fairly extensive wine list; mostly US wine but they have some French and Italian options.
Steak was cooked perfectly and food came out relatively quickly. We were there on a holiday though and it wasn’t that busy for 7pm. We made a reservation ahead of time and were seated right away.

Smith & Wollensky absolutely blew us away! We hosted our private rehearsal dinner there in August, followed by a full buyout of the restaurant for our welcome party for nearly 200 guests, and it was nothing short of perfection. From start to finish, the team at Smith & Wollensky brought our vision to life and executed it flawlessly.
The food was beyond incredible—every dish was cooked to perfection, and many of our guests are still raving about it, calling it the best meal they’ve ever had. The drinks were equally outstanding, with a fantastic selection and expertly crafted cocktails that kept the party going all night. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and elegant, creating the perfect setting for such a special occasion.
What truly set the experience apart was the staff and service. Every single person we interacted with was professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. They anticipated every need, handled the logistics seamlessly, and made us and our guests feel so well cared for.
Smith & Wollensky made our rehearsal dinner and welcome party unforgettable, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their incredible hospitality. If you’re looking for a venue that delivers exceptional food, drinks, and service with a touch of magic, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend!

Unfortunately this is not a true steakhouse. We ordered 2 8oz filet mignon’s both medium well. They both came out purple and super thin like sirloins. Tough and nothing that resembled a quality steak house filet. We spoke to a manager and had to request to have new steaks made. The new ones came out flat and hard and again, seemed more like sirloins than filets. The manager agreed they didn’t look like what they should but did not offer to get it right either. Sad…..we had to get up and leave. Worst experience ever encountered at a high end steakhouse! Don’t waste your money here!!!!! The saddest part was that the manager clearly couldn’t handle this epic fail

Smith & Wollensky is a steakhouse in the heart of Wellesley, with an upscale but minimalist interior and great service.
Staff explained every dish throughout the entire process, telling us what was contained in each dish and also taking into consideration our preferences.
The food was phenomenal. We got the caesar salad, which wasn’t too overwhelming with sauce, but tasted quite well. The steak was definitely a highlight, seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly as well. It came with asparagus, which elevated the experience. The desserts are also top class, such as the cookie skillet, which was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had.
Overall, a wonderful experience and would highly recommend going here on a special occasion.

We went for a 7:00 reservation for Valentines Day dinner and the food and service exceeded expectations! I ordered the filet and my boyfriend opted for the T-bone. Surprisingly very different flavors but both were mouthwateringly delicious. We also ordered the charred broccolini and potatoes au gratin, which both were fabulous. While the food was great, the star of the show was our waiter, JC. He was amazingly attentive and had the best attitude! Will definitely keep this place in mind for more special occasion meals!

I have spent thousands at this restaurant and loved every penny of it. My last experience was not so great! I felt like I was treated like a bum off the street and with an empty Resterant they tucked me right next to the pole at the Chef station. I made a simple request to sit one seat to the left so I could have room to cut my steak. Was told no!. Did not even have room to move my elbow. So I got up and left. Very very disappointed. When I spoke to the gentleman who seated me at the seat on my way out didn’t seem to care if I left or not. So I did took my $200 meal to Black and Blue and had a phenomenal meal which is now earned my business and I will take my gift certificate and shred it for Smith and Wolinskys.. I was greeted with a smile and extremely friendly at BB. And I gave the server a 50% tip for being so nice
Just because I have a gift certificate I shouldn’t be treated like I cannot afford the meal. Don’t assume and treat people how you would like to be treated. I may be wrong about assuming I cannot afford it but as soon as I broke out the gift certificate I got sat in the corner
