The food is normally great at Cracker Barrel, however, my steak tips were overcooked with no seasoning and my hash brown casserole was extremely crunchy and hard. Eggs and grits were good. My sons enjoyed their meals. One had the grilled chicken and the other had the meatloaf. No complaints from them. 🙂 The waiter Tristen was pleasant. The cashier was extremely pleasant and so sweet!

Hmmm hmmmm good. My first time ever eating the steak. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it tasted. I ordered med rare and my husband wanted well done. His came med rare and he was very disappointed. The chef re-did the 2nd steak. He agreed that it tasted good. The pancakes are off the chain. Soooo good.

Our family and I visited Cracker Barrel on a Friday evening. It was moderately busy, but not too crowded. There, we met Logan, a shining example of customer service. Logan is a rising star. He’s not a four-star yet but could easily be one. He’s a young man in high school, but he treated my family with such respect and dignity that it gave me a different perspective on the youth in our area. I was very proud to meet him and very happy that Cracker Barrel decided to hire him. Logan even has a brother who works there, so it seems that Cracker Barrel fosters and promotes a family atmosphere. I would like to commend Cracker Barrel, Logan, and the team for such great service; my family enjoyed ourselves as always.
We made sure to speak with Logan’s manager and share how truly outstanding he is, both as a person and as a worker, highlighting the exceptional service he provided. The manager’s response was nothing but glowing praise, which shows how management is actively recognizing and valuing their employees. In today’s society, it’s refreshing and important to work for a team that genuinely cares about your well-being and how they perceive you. I sincerely hope this positive model continues to be adopted across other workplaces in our country.

We went later than expected. Our server was very kind, but forgetful. We asked for water 3 times. The food was tasty. Biscuits and cornbread were very dark. The mac n cheese was cold because our order was delayed because they ran out of mashed potatoes. They subbed a baked potato, but it took so long I was no longer hungry and we took everything to go.

I haven’t been here since I was a little kid so we drove past and decided to go on a whim. My husband and my two toddlers. My daughter kept saying a deer had run through the wall and I just let her believe that instead of telling her the truth lol I don’t know what other parents say but it’s far too young for me to have to have that conversation. Nonetheless, the food was fairly decent. I asked what they suggested and the server said the pot roast. I liked the vegetables and the sauce. However the meat was a little tough for me. My husband ate all of his food and he had the country fried steak. They have a nice gift shop but it is quite expensive. I like that they have chess boards around that you can play. Kept the kids entertained a little bit. Would I go out of my way to come back? I would not probably. However obviously many people love it my mom who lives in a different state goes here all the time and sings their praises so Just like anywhere it’s a matter of taste. Customer service was good.

Went to the one on Greenbriar parkway it was around 10:30 a.m. and we waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Everything was great until they came out and said that they were out of biscuits, OMG how do you run out of biscuits. I was served some dry toast instead. Other than that the meal was okay nothing spectacular to write home about. I got the country fried steak with eggs and sausage patties. The sausage patties were burnt on the edges and the eggs were kind of watery. Country fried steak was small and too moist. First time I have been to cracker barrel in almost 2 years and I will definitely not be going back.

This was my first time eating here as I was visiting family in Virginia. The staff here was very welcoming. Mya was our server, she was very attentive to us and our food came out quickly. The food has a homemade quality to it. overall we had a good time and I can see myself returning to try more items. they have an all day breakfast menu as well as lunch and dinner.
