Short rib benedict – 9.2/10 – The short rib mixed perfectly with the eggs, hollandaise, and the other ingredients. Eggs were poached perfectly and this is one of the best Eggs Benedicts I’ve had in recent memory.
Buttermilk pancakes – 9.5/10 – Probably about as good of pancakes you can get anywhere in the Twin Cities. Light, fluffy, and with a small crisp. This takes the cake as one of the best breakfast cakes I’ve had in a while.
The rotisserie chicken followed, and the Force was strong with this plate. Tender, juicy, and seasoned beautifully, paired nicely with mashed potatoes and asparagus. A simple dish done with real care.
The Blueberry Ginger Refresher added a bright, crisp lift to everything — a refreshing burst with a gentle ginger kick.
Service was excellent throughout. Our server was welcoming, attentive, and offered thoughtful menu suggestions that truly enhanced the experience.
A fantastic meal from beginning to end. Added to my holocron of favorites, it has been — and return, I will.
Hazelwood Food and Drink – Minnesota
The food was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend Hazelwood Food and Drink if you’re in Minnesota!
I stopped at Hazelwood Food and Drink in Minnesota while traveling, and I have to say, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. I wasn’t expecting much since it was just a random stop on the road, but the food completely blew me away. Everything was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. You can tell the chefs here really know what they’re doing.
The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was right without hovering or being pushy. They really made me feel welcome even though I was just passing through. That kind of genuine hospitality makes a huge difference.
The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable yet classy. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a nice meal whether you’re with friends and family.
Even though I probably won’t be back anytime soon since it’s in a whole different state, I’m honestly glad I stopped there. It’s one of those spots that reminds you good food and good people still exist out there. If you’re ever near the area, definitely make the time to visit Hazelwood Food and Drink — it’s absolutely worth it.
P.s I got the bri burger and iceberge wedge salad with steak
And malbec wine.
One thing I will say is make a reservation. This place was very busy!
I got Shrimp and Scallop scampi. They use sea scallops, a huge plus for that!! I also got a Mocktail (Prickly Pear no-jito). Excellent!!
My sister got the pot pie and niece got the Mediterranean pasta. They both had a drink/cocktail.
Everyone loved their food, and drinks.
