Awesome place to get a cheeseburger in Bend! My partner and I discovered it fairly recently when visiting during the fall and have been there a few times already. They had a really good special Thai Curry burger that was unique, full of flavor and spice. They also have a solid plain burger as well as milkshakes, which are simple but well made. The fries are good too, though nothing that particularly stands out in a diner type restaurant. The food is a bit pricey but it’s overall delicious with quality ingredients, so it’s understandable.

what a waste of $20 for an abomination of an American classic. almost the worst burger and fries I’ve had.
first: the burger. (original double blue eyes) most of these hip new trendy “smash” burger joints just serve trash burgers served awfully by calling it a “smash burger”. It tasted like a giant white castle burger that was dunked in grease, the patty was unseasoned and gritty/chunky, onions were soggy and flavorless, finished with a soggy flattened bun that tasted like it had cleaning chemicals in it.
the fries: they were stale, flavorless, had a terrible texture and again absolutely no seasoning. nowhere near fresh or hot seconds after receiving a tiny portion in a grease soaked bag.
lastly, the ranch dressing was extremely thin, tasted like old 2% milk and lacked any taste of dill, herbs or anything that makes ranch, well, ranch. honestly, it seemed like it was trying to be tzatziki. even McDonald’s ranch is leagues better than this.
the service was okay at best, but what can you expect from a place that has no soul, unseasoned food and a depressed employee flipping an iPad screen that asks you for a 25% BASE tip for doing the bare minimum.
save yourself the headache and just get five guys or even Carl’s Jr.

One of my favorite burgers in Bend. And definitely in the top two best smash burgers in Bend. The retro atmosphere is my favorite! Amazing ice cream and drink options. A good place to go to catch up with a friend or take your kids.

Burger bliss from start to finish. The fries were golden perfection—crisp, hot, and addictive. The burgers? Absolutely amazing—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. And the shakes? Exceptionally rich and creamy—each sip a treat. Service was a solid 10 out of 10—friendly, fast, and attentive. I also appreciated the clean, inviting atmosphere and the fact that the kitchen runs on fresh, fry oil. That level of attention to cleanliness really sets the tone. Highly recommend!

This was hands down one of the best, if not the best smash burger I’ve ever had. It was cooked to perfection. All of the toppings were fresh and complimented the burger very well.
We also had their fries and onion rings. The fries were simple but pretty much perfect. Absolutely loved them. The onion rings were super light and crispy. The batter was unlike any I’ve had before. You need to try them. We all enjoyed them!
Their homemade fry sauce and ranch were wonderful. We found ourselves asking for more!
The kids got a huckleberry shake and a root beer float. They were in heaven!
Please take the time to go check this place out. You will not be disappointed!

The best smashed burger I’ve had to date, it was delicious!! Service from every person there was fantastic, from the very accommodating and patient cashier to our extremely nice and helpful server. My friend also couldn’t stop raving about her milkshake. The only downside was the fries were slightly overcooked and slightly oversalted. Not a dealbreaker and we’ll definitely be back!

First time trying out the food I had the classic single burger, fries, and onion rings The burger was amazing. The onion rings were perfectly fried and the fries were very nice. I only had the ranch and fry sauce. The fry sauce was good, but the ranch was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere is classic old style diner with 60s-70s style characters on the wall that brought the whole place together. Definitely coming back again in the future!

Just finished having a meal at Blue Eyes and it was wonderful! We had the double burgers and could not have been more happy! The food was hot, homemade and served timely! The Onion rings were the highlight of this dining experience with the best crispy beer batter and a sweet wonderful onion in the center! The best onion rings we have had in a very long time. The fry sauce was perfect compliment to the tasty crispy fries and of course the incredible Onion Rings. The only thing that I feel was less than perfect was the ranch they served. It was OK but could have a bit less dill in the recipe. We definitely will be back and can’t wait to recommend to anyone that wants great quick meal with a classic atmosphere and perfect onion rings! Thank you Blue Eyes and your staff for making this a mentionable and quality meal out!
