Great atmosphere. Super pleasant staff. And the food! Best Pizza I’ve had in a long time. The calamari was well done, batter was salted perfectly, and the fry was GBD. And the cannoli was amazing. Highly recommend this establishment

I truly love Gino’s and have for nearly 20 years. I recommend it to family and friends all the time, and many of them have made it their go-to spot for Italian food in Poughkeepsie. The pizza is top-tier, and when the Mortadella e Mozzarella platter is right, it’s one of my favorites.
I normally don’t call to complain, but tonight I reached out with a concern about my order. We had paid extra for additional meat, and unfortunately there was barely any difference from a regular portion. When I called, I was told (with a slight attitude) that this is how it’s always made, which took me aback, especially given a few past orders where ingredients were missing or lighter than expected. Hence the adding of the extra meat to the order originally.
I also hope the tone of conversations with customers voicing concerns improves going forward. I’d hate to see a great place lose business over interactions like that. I understand people make mistakes, or have off days. I’m sharing this only because I care about Gino’s and want it to continue being as good as it’s been for so many years.

Been living here most of my adult life and have never been to Gino’s. Today was my first time. It did not disappoint. It was GREAT! BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER TASTED !!!! The slices were of good size and they were generous with the pepperoni!!! Also my pizza was hot with a crispy bottom, just how I like it !!!! The guy in the kitchen must of known! The flavor of the sauce was superb!!!! Thank you Gino! This establishment has lots of desserts to pick from and a very clean kitchen and dining room. Yes, I looked. The atmosphere is friendly and very welcoming . I will be back!!! …see you soon.

Gino’s was a beautiful surprise that was found on the way back from Manhattan to Albany. The staff were a delightful change from many food service establishments of late; they all were working as a team and each of were kind, warm, engaging, and just delightful.
The restaurant itself was clean (even the bathroom). Organized. Looked to be very well maintained which says a lot about any food service location you might visit.
Then there was the pizza … oh, the pizza! Perfect ratio of dough to sauce to toppings. Delicious was putting it mildly.
If you happen to be in Poughkeepsie, and are craving a good slice of pizza, Gino’s is where you want to go.

Vegan options are pretty limited but, having any at all is an incredible treat so we were thrilled to find this charming little stop during our trip. Between The delicious options and the friendly service, the kids were disappointed that we weren’t returning the second day but, I like to venture to new places. The waitress couldn’t have been kinder and the food was exceptionally quick to come out. Portions were generous and prices were reasonable. Definitely worth the stop!

I ordered the chicken Alfredo to be delivered and I almost threw up after I was done. It was literally soup. No flavor whatsoever. I tasted like noodles with hot milk. I’m very disappointed. My garlic knots were a little stale and I’m shocked because Gino’s garlic knots are usually good. Out of all the things we ordered the chicken Parm sub was okay, but everything else was thrown in the trash.

It was a good spot for a quick lunch. They had several options for single slices of pizza. Around $4.50 a slice. The buffalo chicken was good but I didn’t care for the hot celery/ranch on it.

The food was great and the prices are super reasonable. The stromboli was huge and tasted wonderful. The macaroni and cheese pizza with bacon was amazing (per my 17 year old). It was pretty slow in the restaurant, but take-out and delivery were both steady while we were there.
