I got the Mongolian beef, extra spicy. It was tasty, but 85% rice, and was actually a little sweet not spicy. They merely threw more whole red chili’s but nobody actually eats whole Chinese red chili’s.

My friend got the swordfish, and opted out of the rice and upgraded to double string beans, didn’t look like they doubled it.She said there’s no hint of flavor on the beans, like they were simply boiled. She did like the caper sauce on the fish but had to ask for more.

Both dishes were lunch sized portions with dinner pricing, but there’s live music (Friday 7pm), so just realize that it’s less of a restaurant than a fine whiskey bar with food.

I really wanted this to be an enjoyable experience. However the food was lacking in flavor portions are small for the price, even a dinner salad with a steak was a $5 upcharge. The music was not good to be nice. The owner was very nice, but our server showed us little attention. The ambiance was really cool but I can’t recommend the food or the service.

Finally made it to this new local favorite and my only regret is not having been here sooner. We didn’t have dinner reservations but made it there early enough (before 6) where they have plenty of tables on a Friday night. I was in the mood for a cocktail that wasn’t sweet, and the server recommended just the right one. I don’t remember the exact name of it but it has cucumber and a hint of agave. I think tequila is the primary ingredient but it’s not a margarita. It was refreshing and offered just the right hint of sweetness. My husband who is a big fan of Old Fashioned drinks had one and boy, was it good! No, it wasn’t good, it was delicious! I don’t like Old Fashioneds but this one was absolutely incredible. We will return just for the drinks.

The food itself was delicious, even though it has minimal offerings for vegetarians. The Impossible Burger is the only choice, but it was cooked well and the fries were good. Our other party member had a traditional burger and raved about it as well.

We found out they have live entertainment every night, starting at around 9 p.m., so we will return for that.

Overall, this is a fabulous place with an impressive bar, good food offerings, excellent service and an overall good vibe. Looking forward to returning.

What a great place! Fun, lively, awesome service and the tuna tartar and shrimp tacos were outstanding. The decor is modern and sleek. The live music was really cool and kept us entertained. The place was packed but we were lucky to be sat immediately. The server attended to us soon after we sat down and he was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. To drink, I had an old fashioned that was made just how I love them, with a cherry AND an orange zest peel and with a generous pour! My guest had the Air Tight and it was DELICIOUS. I asked a female server about the speakeasy, and she suggested to make a reservation ahead of time and that the best days to visit it are on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I plan on visiting Lincoln House on ac regular basis.

Delicious food with an amazing atmosphere. A little pricey but was worth it. Enjoyed the live entertainment and large drink menu.

Fun place in Covina, we got here to have dinner and were pleasantly surprised with a live band, and a large selection of Bourbon.

This time we brought friends, and had a great time. Drinks were good and dinner delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly.

The guitar player was very talented but a little loud, which made it difficult to sustain our conversation, but overall a great experience.

This is my 3rd time coming here. I didn’t write a review to e first couple of times but this time, some things needed to be said. First of all, we with a group of ten so I didn’t know what to expect. The service when it’s a big group is not the same as when it’s just two people. For whatever reason, there were long lapses in between when the waitress would come to the table. I didn’t like that. The food and drinks were cool as before. You can look at the videos of what we ordered. Another thing, if you plan on taking a date to this restaurant on a night where the band is playing, you may have a really hard time of hearing your date. The music is really loud. In fact too loud. Go for yourself and see. You may like not hearing the person you’re talking to without yelling at them. I normally recommend places to go but this one, you’ll have to see for yourself.

Dark, Abraham Lincoln-themed restaurant & bar with live music on the weekends. $30 minimum spend per person when there’s a band performing. We had a reservation for five people at 7pm on a Saturday and we needed the entire party to arrive before we got seated. Indoor dining only (no outdoor seating). There’s bar seating as well as tables – it’s good for big groups as well as date nights.

Food-wise, there’s a mix of Mexican, American, and Asian. The band that performed when we went was an 80s cover band, and they were pretty good. Our waiter was nice and checked in often to refill our waters. Note that if you get a beer, you’ll have to ask for a separate frosted glass (otherwise they’ll only give you the bottle). The Cajun pasta I had was a generous portion and very creamy. I liked the Mongolian beef too. The shrimp tacos were ok.

Street parking available. The bathrooms are in the back behind the Abe Lincoln mural. Credit cards accepted.

My husband and I love this spot for our date nights! So he made a reservation for my Birthday dinner for a party of 10. The reservation was easy to make over the phone. Everyone really enjoyed the food, drinks and live music!

The place is buzzing in an early Friday evening. Live music starts at 8 and judging from the crowd coming in around 730 the gig must be pretty good. My steak was slightly over cooked from medium rare but it was tasty. For a $50 steak I expect a bit more flair. Overall the experience was good of a neighborhood restaurant.
