I recently tried the winter dome experience at the Edmonton Marriott Downtown, and it was honestly one of the coziest winter moments I’ve had in the city. The dome is fully heated, beautifully lit, and feels like a little escape from the cold while still letting you enjoy the snowy atmosphere outside.
The setup is clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. The lighting and ambiance make it perfect for a date night, a small celebration, or just a unique winter outing. Staff were friendly and attentive, and everything felt well‑organized.
If you’re looking for something special to do in Edmonton during the colder months, this is a beautiful option — warm, private, and memorable. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed in the Courtyard by Marriot Hotel for a week, and dined a few times at this adjoined restaurant.
1. Butternut squash and beet salad. — The goat cheese melts, has a great texture and is the best I’ve ever had. Squash and beets are roasted and chilled, the aragula is fresh. Almond is made crisp somehow. The citrus vinaigrette is refreshingly delicious.
2. Vegetarian Vindaloo — The vegetables were very well fried, but it was too oily. It was great to start, but felt more salty towards the end.
3. Soup of the day (Tomato basil) — Was thick and nice, came with a piece of bread.
For breakfast, the buffet was cancelled on most of the days due to very few customers, and I could use my breakfast token partly towards the a la carte menu. The French toast with jam was good, on one day.
(It was a bad idea to book the room inclusive of breakfast)
And the buffet is very limited, and I resorted to mostly cut fruits.
Overall, some dishes were very good, the view of the river is very good, the prices were definitely too high, and the service can surely improve (among several incidents, I had to argue that I did not have the coffee that they charged me for). A bit disappointing.

A Wednesday evening for dinner with an incredible view of the river valley. The service was excellent – attentive, gracious and friendly. The prices are definitely on the high side but the meals are excellent. I saved some of the main course so I could have the insanely delicious cheesecake. Drinks, main, dessert, coffee and liqueur made it a special occasion.

We waited about 20 mins before someone came to offer us drinks. And it was NOT busy.
The food…. Too fancy for my liking and not enough gluten free choices. At least make a dish be able to be gluten free. Especially for the prices charged!
I can’t give a low review because the view is beautiful.
They just need management to step in and give some training to the staff and change the menu a little.

We had an amazing experience on Christmas Day dinner in one of their domes. The food and service were great! We had the chicken vindaloo and it was yummy. Fun experience with family we will definitely be back, looking forward to the summer season to sit on their beautiful patio ☀️

Poor service. Limited lunch menu. But orders were taken relatively quickly.
The presence of bugs in the establishment upset and alarmed some customers. The restaurant’s location at the hotel entrance is less than stellar.
The view is nice, although the windows could use a cleaning. As for the food… it’s like a regular restaurant, but more expensive for who knows why.
Bottom line: there’s room for improvement, but for now, things are dismal.

Right by the river with a quiet, relaxing vibe perfect for a casual meal or drinks on the patio. You can hear the river, watch people walk by on the trails, and just unwind.
Food-wise, it’s good but not life-changing. Drinks were solid, nothing crazy, but refreshing.
Service was friendly but a little slow, probably because the patio was packed. Staff still made sure we were checked on, so no complaints.
Prices are on the higher side, but nothing outrageous. Will go back only for that view.

No salt and pepper for fries. Unless you ask for it. Plain unseasoned fries with $27 burger. Great bacon on the burger. Bun fell apart tho on top.

Came here for my proposal dinner, food was absolutely amazing. Vibes emmaculate, and Francis was very helpful throughout the experience. Food was delicious, very simple not over the top but a mixture of amazing flavours. The chef definitely knows what he is doing, food was no greasy or gross but cooked to perfection with premium ingredients. I had the steak, fries, burger & lobster linguini. The dome experience was also very elegant and nice. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you everyone and especially Francis.
