I was skeptical that the overwhelming positive reviews were legit, but they are. I ate here for an early dinner at the tail end of happy hour. Their prices are reasonable, their portions are huge (they give a double chicken beast for their chicken sandwich), and they have solid drink specials. Service was friendly and very speedy.

4 of us are in Tampa for a day from Ohio and just looked for somewhere close. We were all SO glad that we found this restaurant. Lots of TVs with the Sunday football game on. The atmosphere was great for a Sportsbar and the food was fantastic! Service was fast and the staff was cheerful and attentive. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere around Midtown Tampa.

It’s apparent why they have the highest and most reviews currently for Tampa restaurants. If you’re wanting southern tinged hospitality with a throwback sports bar vibe, this is it. Great prices for the level of quality in the food. Excellent service that anticipates my needs before I ask and just overall family friendly feel. I went solo but would be totally comfortable bringing kids here to enjoy a bite.

I had such a great experience at Walk-On’s today! I came with my son, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and family-friendly. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and everything came out quickly.
Our waitress, Karisma, was amazing — very attentive, kind, and patient. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us at the perfect times without being overwhelming. Great customer service like hers really makes a difference.

We had a wonderful experience at Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux – Tampa (Midtown). The young lady at the front was very friendly and attentive, which set a great tone for our visit. The food was excellent — I highly recommend the Lemon Butter Chicken. I swapped the cheese grits for garlic mashed potatoes, and it was a perfect choice. Overall, everything was delicious, and the service was great. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Fun lively laid back spot for happy hour! Best happy hour in midtown. Drink specials & cheap appetizers! The bang bang shrimp was banging! Tons of craft beers on tap (huge selection). The food menu has a wide selection as well. Definitely recommend Walk Ons for lunch, dinner, and especially happy hour!

She was super attentive without being overbearing and made sure our drinks were always full and our food came out exactly how we asked.
