This has always been, hands down, our favorite Indian food in all of Peterborough and area! Oh the flavours! We’ve tried others, not the same, others don’t taste homemade as far as we’re concerned. Curry Village is authentic! The meat dishes actually have meat in them, not just a couple of measly pieces. Also, I have food allergies so can sometimes be a challenge eating out. Curry Village has always been very accommodating to me and I know I can trust THIS restaurant. Would it be 30 years now you’ve been in business in Peterborough? We know why! Your food is just SO GOOD!

A group of us (vegan and non-vegan) went for the vegan buffet. Wveryone loved it! There were many delicious items to choose from and the price ($19.99) was very reasonable. The service was very friendly. Will definitely be going back and recommending Curry Village!

No shortcuts were taken here – they make delicious meals and serve generous portions. I got the vindaloo and baji and both were incredible. Nice place to go solo but it would be a great place to host a group as well!

I was traveling through Peterborough with my mom, and we stopped for lunch at Curry Village. I have to start off by saying the atmosphere was amazing, and felt like you were in an authentic Indian restaurant setting. The owner and chef Shahidul was very accommodating, and meal was excellent. It was definitely home made, everything made from scratch, and you could tell. I would recommend anyone who likes a very good curry dish; spicy as well, to check out Curry Village.

Amazing halal restaurant serving Bangladeshi cuisine. I had the Mulligatawny soup to start and then the Beef Dhansak as the main with pilao. Both were cooked fresh and were delicious. The prices were reasonable and I had a great conversation with the owner based on his experiences running this restaurant for the last 3 decades. Would definitely recommend.

6 different curries and bhonna. Delicious with naan and the rice was fluffy! I liked the ambience too, the feeling was authentic and otherworldly for a person who hasn’t yet visited India. Would take my family here again.

This place is great! The server was extremely kind and hospitable. The food came out in a good time for our group, and it was steaming hot, fresh, and delicious! Go support this restaurant! The butter chicken is wonderful, and the samosas were some of the best I’ve had. I even got to see the tandoor where the magic happens.

Absolutely superb Bangladeshi food, cooked by chef with 50+ years experience. The fish curry was fresh and delectable. We ordered the Bangladesh low cal dinner for two and every item was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this wonderful spot.
