Went for lunch on Veterans Day, To Savona’s credit they had a special for the veterans and it was crowded. Buttered breadsticks greeted us.
Lunch with a friend consisted of an eggplant panino with salad instead of fries. With pesto and red peppers and less cheese as requested it was delicious. Companion had the waterfront salad with grilled chicken added. He asked for romaine instead of mixed greens and no problem. The salad was loaded with fresh and dried fruit.
The service was ordinary. Attentive but ordinary. No complaints, no above and beyond.
Will return.

We just moved into the Red Hook community and found our favorite restaurant, Savona’s. Our server Emylie made our visit so memorable that we continue to come every Wednesday and ask to be seated at her station. She exudes enthusiasm and warmth making us feel like family. She visits our table often to ensure we are happy and is very knowledgeable about the menu and wine selections. She is just what any customer would want in a server. She is warm, friendly and makes every visit feel so very special. She is a credit to your establishment and personifies, what I believe, you are trying to achieve in your food, atmosphere and employees. Don’t ever let her leave as we would be heartbroken if she did. ( She is not leaving). We love the food and we love Emylie.

I LOVE THEIR PIZZA!!! I’ve only ordered online but I always request for crispy thin crust and they always accommodate me!!! They’re also very generous with the additional toppings, 10/10 will recommend!!!

Post hike lunch with a friend took us to Savona’s. Very pleasant dining room and great bar.
Started with a bloody mary and stuffed zucchini flowers. Then a fried artichoke Caesar and chicken marsala for my friend. Very friendly staff, our waiter Gift was helpful and pleasant. Plenty of parking. A must try when in Red Hook.

My husband and I have started the tradition of coming to Savona’s in Red Hook on New Year’s Day for brunch. What an exceptional way to start each year. The staff at this location are top tier! Being warmly greeted and have lovely conversation with Liz(the world needs more people like her!) and having Lucas behind the bar with a smile, mixing up mouth watering cocktails that go down just a little too smoothly. Seeing the familiar faces of the staff every visit is a warm comfort to those who visit regularly.
Kudos to Stephen for crafting such an amazing team that creates the welcoming environment that makes Savona’s in Red Hook such a special place to visit!

Would you have payed $16.16 for this? Ordered a neapolitan pizza, disappointingly received this instead. When I asked to confirm if this was actually a Neapolitan pizza or if it was just a plain cheese pizza I was told “it’s a traditional pizza”. Very deceitful in my opinion.

We just had lunch today with our dear friends and I have to give a shout out to one gentleman who I do believe is a busboy if that’s the proper term. His name is Caesar and he was so attentive to us and he just made our experience so much more pleasurable.
Thank you very much Caesar for being so kind and taking good care of us. This was the first time we didn’t love our service. If not for Caeser we would have been much unhappier.
I need to add, that I took home the fettuccine alfredo with grilled chicken and it was incredible.

Had an amazing experience! Stopped by after the New York State Sheep & Wool Festival. The arancini was just as good, if not better, than any I had in Sicily. The Limoncello cocktail was really delicious(coming from someone who does not like limoncello). Everything we tried was really tasty. Definitely worth getting off the Taconic Parkway in either direction.
Just as good as any Italian food I’ve had in NYC and Italy.
