Top notch all the way around. I tried the chicken and pork tacos and they were as good as any I’ve had at other taco shops. They also have novelty items like the Nashville Hot chicken and Korean BBQ tacos which are also worth checking out.

Great spot for some quick and delicious food Mexican food! I’ve been here a few times and it has been great every time. Definitely make sure you try the breakfast burrito. It was perfect to eat after a big morning hike with my dog. I also have tried the queso (10/10) and their California burrito, which is huge and super filling. Also love their chicken quesadillas when I’m in a tight time jam and just want something quick. The staff is great whether you’re dining in or getting take out. It’s typically filled with kids from Vandy, but still a decent spot to eat in without chaos!

We were hungry after touring the Parthenon so we stopped by Oscars for some lunch. We started with pico and chips. The pico was fresh and very tasty. I ordered the bean and cheese burrito. It was good. But I wish it had some fresh onion chopped up in it.
My husband ordered the hot chicken taco and the carne asada taco. He said the hot chicken taco was amazing and he’d definitely order it again and he wished he had ordered 2. The said the carne asada had a lot to it but it wasn’t really noteworthy. Not bad, just decent.
My some ordered the birria tacos. He said they were really good. Classic tastiness we’ve come to know and love from birria.
My other son had the fish taco and chicken taco. He said The fish taco was ok. I tried it and it seemed the fish was dry and then frying it had made it drier. It also had that “fishy” smell to it. I did not like it and if I had ordered it, I wouldn’t have eaten it but he did eat half of it. He said the chicken taco was yummy and he’d definitely order it again. Should’ve ordered x2 of them.
We also got the Mexican cokes which is always better than American cokes.
Cool place and they have a “salsa bar?” Idk the name but it had the verde, red sauce, pickled onion, and cucumbers on the bar. We’d def go back. Also very reasonably priced but I would say the prices on Google are not accurate. We paid around $4.50 per taco and I think online was still showing under $4ea and even their website showed lower prices than in the restaurant.

To start off, their guac is GREAT, but I am disappointed about my overall Oscar’s experience! I ordered through Ubereats and the Cheese Quesadilla menu item said that it came with refried beans, guac, and sour cream. Yum! When I received my order, it only had cheese on it–something I wouldn’t have ordered if I knew that was only going to be cheese. I checked their own website to make sure, and it said the same thing–refried beans, sour cream, and guac included.
I called to ask about it (I wasn’t sure if the kitchen messed up or if they have the descriptions wrong on all of their menus) and let them know that their menu says it comes with those things and mine were missing. The woman on the phone kept telling me “no its just cheese,” so I told her that their menus say differently and wanted to let them know so they don’t have more issues and she just said “Ok.” It was a little disappointing to not get any apology/understanding for a mistake on their end, given that I approached it pleasantly and mainly as a courtesy to let them know in case their menu was wrong (I had already gotten my UberEats refund, so I wasn’t trying to get something out of them or anything–just wanted to let them know).
I would love to try them out again, but would be hesitant to get takeout, given that their menu isn’t accurate online on multiple platforms, including the menu link directly from their website. I would be concerned that I would order something based off of an incorrect description and be disappointed.

Absolutely love this place!! Amazing!! The food is delicious no matter what you pick, and the staff is extremely kind. Going above and beyond to remember orders and make the place feel cozy. Highly recommended and will continue to eat here!

The red tacos are the best! Nachos are great and surf now turf is plentiful! The staff is always nice and welcoming, and the tables are clean and comfortable. Visit at least once here if you’re visiting. Take your food to go and sit at the park nearby! It’s definitely worth it!
