I feel sad that I have to leave a bad review for this restaurant. This was used to be one of our favourite place because of the friendly staff. We always order extra large house special soup noodle, so we knew the portion well. Today we arrived at 7:45ish, placed our extra large as usual. I did notice their price increased from $17.xx to $19.99. As I placed the order, the waitress asked if I am okay with round noodles. After considering, I told her I prefer to have the pho noodles. Then she finally told me because they are sold out of the regular pho noodle, so I told her it’s fine then. When the order came, I used the chopstick to go through the noodles and there were BARELY any! We were given small bowls to share and the noodles wasn’t enough to fill one of the small bowls, not to mention the noodles were so broken into small pieces that I can’t even use my chopsticks on them. I asked the waitress if that was supposed to be all the noodles for extra large size. She said thats all the noodles. When I told her I had it before and there were more noodles, she said because they gave us extra meat. I told her she never mentioned of this. Because I was sharing it with my daughter, if I knew they were giving extra meat to replace the noodles, I would rather do more noodles and less meat, or maybe even I would have order something else. After complaining to her, she gave us another small bowl of complimentary noodles. Then as we were eating, there were other people coming in to order take out. I heard that person was ordering number 8 large, which I check later on it’s also pho soup noodle. However, I did not hear the waitress mentioning to that customer that they are sold out of pho noodles. Then why was it sold out for us when we ordered?? Or it was not sold out but they were just trying to get rid of their round noodles??? Overall it just made no sense at all. Plus the portion of round noodles given to us at the beginning was like a kids size, just enough for my daughter. I am so disappointed with this service. Not to mention the filthy bowl and utensil. One of the “clean” bowls given to us has a piece of noodle and green stuff on it. Chopsticks and spoons were sticky. I am not sure if I want to go back again.

Service was fantastic, I came in when it was still not that busy (waiters were eating, I felt bad) but the person who served me was very nice despite how busy it got later on.
If you’re craving Pho, this hits the spot. I got a small but it was still a big portion for me. A lot of noodles, a lot of beansprouts, an average amount of meat. I then got a smoothie to go and it was a full cup and really tasty.

It’s our GO-TO. The pho is as good as it gets in Richmond. It’s consistent and cheaper than most places now. You also get a really healthy portion, more than a lot of Pho restaurants. The service has always been good, too. Bonus points for easy parking.

Got my food for take out, when I got back the sauce are all missing,
Looks like new workers did not have this problem b4,
After calling and letting them know what happen , and to ask did they remove that sauce,
She just said she need to get back to work and next time I need to ask for the sauce ? Which never did i have to ask that b4, in short Warning carfull look at what you buy next time the beef will be missing and you need to ask for it

Pho Khang has been upping their game over the years. When I tried the restaurant years ago it was okay. The quality wasn’t as high. However in 2024 I have eaten there 3 times in the last 2 weeks and I’m impressed.
I am not certain what changed however the food and the broth seem to be tastier. They are still reasonably priced and a go to when I need a quick tasty meal.
When calling in for take out they are incredible. 10-15 minutes and the food is bagged up and ready for you. Well packaged in containers that don’t leak.

Flavor was okay but I’ve never had pho where there was so little meat in my bowl of pho 🙁
It was a few slices of beef and STRIPS of beef brisket, not that much noodles as well. Disappointed in the serving for sure.

A charming family-owned PHÕ restaurant and had an outstanding dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by a friendly server who immediately made me feel at home. Her genuine smile and attention to detail was remarkable, always anticipating our needs before we even had to ask.
The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the spring rolls. They were incredibly crunchy and crisp, packed with a generous amount of fresh ingredients. Every bite was delightful explosion of textures and flavours.
The vermicelli dishes were equally impressive, with tender and smooth noodles perfectly complementing the vibrant and fresh ingredients. The phõ soup was piping hot and bursting with rich and complex flavours that were truly satisfying.

I ordered 8A The Brisket Pho, Husband ordered House Special Pho, and we shared a side order of Lemongrass Chicken. The noodles were a nice chewy texture. Soup base was on the light and clean side, not too strong. The portion was good. Wasn’t a fan of the Lemongrass chicken, there wasn’t any dipping sauce and the flavor was very light almost bland… sadly the chicken was dry considering it’s thigh meat…
