A delightful place serving Georgian Azerbaijani cuisine. A little different in that use select what you would like to eat at the counter. There are multiple dishes in the cold case I have been prepared earlier.
It is in a small strip mall, but there is adequate parking and there are a number of tables in what is a café like setting.
It is also a store with multiple imported foods from the region.

I was pleasantly surprised that all of the food was exquisitely prepared. It is not fancy, but what makes it good is the amount of flavors. A rice and meat dish is only as good as its flavoring.

They are warm and welcoming and more than happy to answer any questions.

I undoubtedly will be back to try some of the other dishes and recommend this establishment

I absolutely love visiting Baku Delicious in Fairfax! Their selection of Azerbaijani foods, spices, and beverages is superb—authentic flavors you rarely find elsewhere in the area. The staff is incredibly warm and knowledgeable; they’re happy to explain unfamiliar items, give cooking tips, and help you find what suits your taste. Every time I go, I leave excited to try something new—from their tea blends to homemade sweets, each item feels like a little piece of Azerbaijani culture. If you’re looking for high-quality ingredients, friendly service, and a chance to explore something different, [Store Name] is a gem. Highly recommended!

Baku was the perfect to stop to get an authentic Azerbaijani lunch. We got a Aerbaijai tea, Turkish coffee, and a smorgasbord of savory baked goods. We met Shafiga and she did an amazing job explaining the different regional pastries. We had a very relaxing experience. 10/10 recommend this business for any time of the day!

TL;DR: Be diligent with checking expiration dates and packaging on all items from the market section.

I wanted to try the product from their international market for a while now. And while we were visiting the area few days ago, we bought over 20 items from the market. Once we were unpacking the purchases, we realized about 1/3 of them were expired…

Some products like 3 different types of cheese (not pictured) and dry bagels (on the photo) expired over 4 months ago. A meat pastry from the fresh section, when warmed up within an hour after the purchase, had foul smell. A couple of products didn’t have any visible expiration date. White cheese (feta-like) was fresh and great.

When I noticed during the checkout that one of frozen packages was broken, I was asked to put it back to the freezer (it wasn’t taken away, at least while I was there).

Another note is that once my Black partner entered the store while I was shopping, a male employee (?) has appeared right next to him, hands crossed on his chest, and continued standing a step or two away from my partner the whole time he was in the store, and even was giving my partner an eye from the window while he was waiting for me in the parked car outside. I was not expecting this in a store in Fairfax in 2026…

A female employee was very nice to our kid, I appreciated that, and was hesitant to write a one-star review, but I wasn’t expecting so many items to slip through the expiration checks cracks.

ETA: Kvas (melt drink) has expiration date back in March 2025…

From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. The staff greeted us warmly, seated us promptly, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Our server was attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to give great recommendations. Orders arrived quickly, everything was perfectly prepared, and small details—like checking on us at just the right time—made a big difference. The professionalism, friendliness, and care shown by the entire team truly elevated the dining experience. This is how great restaurant service should be. Highly recommended!

I recently had the opportunity to explore a Georgian lunch at a charming Azerbaijani family-owned bakery café, and it was an enjoyable experience discovering new cuisine. Upon entering the café, I was greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complemented by an impressive array of Eastern European products, including wines, sweets, fresh and frozen foods, pastries, desserts, bottled and canned beverages, and imported chocolates.

The owner was exceptionally helpful, explaining the menu options in a friendly manner, which I greatly appreciated as I was unfamiliar with many of the dishes. I chose to try the Kubdari Khachapuri, a round flatbread filled with beef, garlic, and spices. It offered a nice combination of savory flavors with a crisp exterior; I believe it would pair wonderfully with wine.

For dessert, I enjoyed the honey cake, which consisted of delicate layers of sponge and cream and was finished with a dusting of crushed taffy. This complemented my caffe latte quite nicely. I look forward to returning to this establishment soon to sample its unique bakery items and diverse ethnic dishes.

Revisited to get the desserts and espresso drinks here, and highly recommend:
1. Napoleon cake, featuring thin, flaky puff pastry layers with a smooth, rich, and subtly sweet pastry cream that pairs beautifully with a strong Illy coffee.
2. San Sebastian pistachio cheesecake, a twist on the classic Basque cheesecake, infused with pistachio paste or cream for a rich, nutty flavor. It has a creamy, crustless interior and a rustic appearance. The portion was generous, not overly sweet, and tasted great with a cafe latte made with Illy coffee.
