It was “good” sushi.
Terrible service. We had to wave down the employees for everything.
And they weren’t even that busy.
And the place is kind of small, so it’s very loud and noisy.

Food was amazing. The red dragon roll and the scallop roll were phenomenal. I took the advice of another review and tried the truffle salmon which was unbelievable almost all the tables were full, but there were only two Waite staff and one was actually hosting as well so I wouldn’t say Service was great. I think they could’ve used one more person on the floor

We came during lunch and were very surprised at how great this restaurant was for us.

The wait staff were very responsive for a restaurant that was a little over half full. They took careful note on what we wanted to order with slight modification.

Overall the food was very tasty and definitely higher quality. If you would like quality this is the place for that and not quantity.

The baked mussels were acceptable.

The sashimi was very fresh and tasty. The bluefin was very soft and delectable.

The garlic salmon collar was a bit salty, but a very small side of rice offered it would really make it perfect.

The sweet shrimp was very good and probably a return favorite now.

The salmon carpaccio was better than most carpaccios across SoCal.

I was told the jumbo scallop was good. The salmon truffle was “the best” and really soft.

This is one of the top sushi spots I go to. The sushi is amazingly fresh and delicious, with great texture. One of my favorites is the red snapper with lemongrass, oh so good. You really can’t go wrong with anything here, it is amazing. This is a small place that does fill up fast, so I tend to come early. Service is excellent, and this is a regular stop when I am in the area. I highly recommend it.

Very delicious food and very friendly staff. Prices are very decent affordable. If I’m ever in LA again I would come back to here for sure.

The sushi was exceptional. I appreciated its freshness. Alongside, we tried the noodles and garlic spicy edamame, which, though slightly oily for my taste, contributed to an overall enjoyable dining experience.

I wanted to try this place after seeing reels on Instagram. I’ve never been to a sushi place where three separate servers were so eager to come over and clear plates, yet didn’t ask how we were doing or how everything was. I would have ordered more rolls and another pitcher of beer, but sadly wasn’t asked. No complimentary miso soup either?? How does a sushi place not have a baked roll offering? Very limited menu.

We arrived here at approximately 7:30pm. We were warmly greeted and seated right away.
They had some very interesting sushi options. They all tasted delicious and fresh.
Our all time favorite was the Jungle Fever roll topped with fried arugula. That crunchy topping was amazing!
While we were bummed that they didn’t have Thai iced tea, they still offered refillable soda and were really great about keeping our drinks fresh and filled.
We will DEFINITELY be coming back again!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sushi World, and I must say, the culinary experience was quite delightful. The restaurant offers a wide selection of sushi rolls, and I had the opportunity to try the Cheetah Roll, Atlantic Dragon Roll, White Dragon Roll, and Spicy Tuna Rice Cake. Each dish was a treat for the taste buds, leaving me wanting more.

The Cheetah Roll, filled with fresh salmon, creamy avocado, and delectable cheese, was a true standout. The combination of flavors was harmonious, and the presentation was visually appealing. It was a perfect balance of textures and tastes.

The Atlantic Dragon Roll and White Dragon Roll were equally impressive. The rolls were beautifully crafted, and the quality of the ingredients was evident. The Atlantic Dragon Roll had a delightful combination of seafood, while the White Dragon Roll offered a unique twist with its fusion of flavors. Both rolls were a pleasure to indulge in.

The Spicy Tuna Rice Cake was another highlight of my meal. The spicy kick of the tuna paired wonderfully with the sticky rice, creating a satisfying and flavorful dish. It was a creative take on traditional sushi, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The service at Sushi World was exceptional. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided recommendations and ensured that my dining experience was pleasant. However, one aspect that could be improved upon is the waiting time. The wait for a table was longer than anticipated, which slightly affected the overall experience.

In conclusion, Sushi World offers a fantastic selection of sushi rolls bursting with flavor. The Cheetah Roll, Atlantic Dragon Roll, White Dragon Roll, and Spicy Tuna Rice Cake were all delicious and left me thoroughly satisfied. The service was top-notch, although the waiting time for a table was longer than expected. Despite this minor setback, I would recommend Sushi World to sushi enthusiasts looking for a memorable dining experience.

Small place in a shopping center, was not very packed and had seating inside and out… plenty of parking. Servers were quick to get our order, they were friendly, but one wasn’t familiar with what’s in the specialty rolls and the other lady was very hard to understand because of her accent and she was wearing a mask. I went up to the sushi bar to get more info on a special of the day roll and i could barely understand that guy. Specialty rolls were unique and very tasty except for one, it was their “Specials” roll, i think it was called the swifty. The guy at the bar said it was bluefin, shrimp and crab… didn’t realize he meant a mountain of imitation crab as the outside of the roll. Didn’t even taste the bluefin. I should have sent it back as soon as i saw it but whatever. We also had the chicken katsu plate, chicken was such a small portion it seemed as though they ran out but it was good. The salad was good too, thought it had ginger dressing but looks like they use sesame dressing. Overall a good experience and good food but i did notice it’s a little more expensive than our typical spot. If I’m in the area I’ll drop by again.
