Wonderful authentic Latin American food at a reasonable price! This spot was full of local regulars, so I feel lucky we found it while on the Tammany Trace Bike Trail. The Tamale Plate & Birria Tacos were both tasty! Both entrees paired well with the Abita Amber!

COLOMBIAN FOOD!!! Ordered the Bendeja Paisa and it was great the chicaronne could of been a little bigger but it was excellent..all had great flavor. I also ordered chicken and steal taco, and they were also good. I’ve tried alot of colombian places and this one compares to North bergen, nj colombian food..im coming back every day that I am here to try other menu items. The salsa bar was fresh and the spicy was perfect..amazes me everything is good..its hard to say that anywhere..all the choices were excellent.

I’m sure I could come up with more adjectives to describe the lunch we ate at EmpaTaco today but WOW. We ordered the Birria Tacos and the shredded pork Arepa. SO GOOD PEOPLE!! Do yourselves a favor and go check them out…you won’t be disappointed! If I could put a number higher than 5 out of 5, I would lol.

We love eating here! The staff is friendly and the food has incredible taste! We enjoy the variety and authentic food options. My favorite is getting the sweet plantains as a “dessert”

The atmosphere was nice and friendly. Everyone welcomed you and made it feel like home. The food was flavorful and delightful. The Birria tacos were perfectly cooked, nice moist and melt in you mouth every single bite. The frozen margaritas was perfect and strong. I Will be stopping by, every time I visit Nola.

Great food. Carne asada tacos and chimichanga. Beans are hard to eat with fork – they are like a very thick bean soup, but they are really good. No chips and salsa here.

Their cuban sandwich was really good, also their carne asada!! We had their cheese guava empanada for dessert and I loved it!
If you want great empanadas this is your go to place! We love the colombian and hawaiian empanada. That’s my personal favorite! The bandeja paisa is great as well. It can feed two people!
