This is probably one of our new favorite locations due to the friendly staff and tasty pots. The menu is consistent with their other locations and remains the same as it’s always been. I highly recommend their Thai Tomato pot with vermicelli, and coming before 3pm because you get a complimentary tea: either green tea or wintermelon tea.
* Thai Tomato: 10/10 – great flavor and has both meat and seafood
* Beef: 9/10 – variety of veggies and beef
* Green Tea: 10/10 – light and not too sweet
* Wintermelon Tea – 8/10 – good but a bit too sweet for our liking
The interior is very spacious, and they offer a decent amount of seating. Compared to other places, the lighting is also a lot brighter, and the workers are super sweet. It’s located in the corner of the plaza with a decent-sized parking lot, but it can get crowded at peak times.
Keep in mind that they’re only taking cash at the moment! Their machines are down, but you can call beforehand and ask if they’re taking cards yet.
Can’t wait to come back!
This new location is a bit smaller than RH. Plenty of parking spots but they aren’t the best. Really compact spots.
As for the food, get the Korean pot or the new Milky Rose pot!
Don’t forget to scan for the rewards.
Location is a bit hard to find with small parking. We came at 8:30pm so less car already, not sure how day time will be when there is more traffic
We came and luckily have table right away, just waited for few minutes
The trainee who served our table- ViVi was wonderful. While you can see all other staffs look tense I guess new store open all is new so they are not 100% get used to with the speed yet. They look tense/ sad with no smile but Vivi have a great smile and look happy to serve us.
She recommended us upgrade Beef hot pot order, I was hesitate as I am afraid I could not handle much, she was very smart telling me if you can not finish you can bring home, you get bigger portion and more beef. Sounds good to me so I got the upgrade one. Yes I can bring home if I can not finish why not try.
During the time we eat, she was super fast. I got running nose due to the the heat from chili sauces, immediately without asking for more tissue like other places, she already place tissue on table with surprise from my husband and I. Wow, it is service in 5 star fine dining, I did not expect she noticed my need that fast. She move very fast to serve other tables with smile and happiness that you could feel. She kept checking on us how everything ok or not. I was impressed so much. We both work in luxury hotel so we made joke that we may want to hunt Vivi for our hotel restaurant. We need someone like her in our fine dinning team.
Regarding to food, like other comments I just read for now, they are accurate. The soup was like hot water added chili oil. BP hot pot in other place the flavor is very bold and very flavorful even the sauce here the flavor is also not the same. What make BP is busy regardless how I hate waiting is the flavor and the dipping sauce. I wonder how come it happens when BP is a worldwide store chain but no consistency in their standard? I know all hotpot was frozen and packed, the store just need to heat them up but why there is too much difference right at this location!? Too much water added?
That is the only big minus point for this location other than that the meat and veggie were very fresh, not old or cold burn like the meat we had in Chino location but the flavor is not there, completely no flavor.
If the flavor can be adjusted correctly as standard then it will be 5 star in overal!
Taste needs to be consistent and stronger. Some flavors are not there.
Still soft opening with promos.
