The chips and salsa were really good. Fajitas, beans, and rice were similar to most of other Mexican restaurants. Fountain drink had a weird taste.

I live 30 miles north from here, where I’ve given up on good Mexican. So when I’m really craving yummy Mexican, I drive down. Their rice, beans, salsa ALL of it, is very flavorful. I love that their table salsa is actually spicy. Very big portions. Friendly family. The only problem is we went on a hot day and it was pretty warm inside so that time we took most of it to go. We’ve tried several things and have no complaints!

This place was delicious and fast! And very authentic. The chicken taco surprised me because there is rice inside but it is SO GOOD! My husband loved the chicken flautas and ate ALL of the rice and beans. They had a HUGE selection of bottled sodas and fountain drinks too, plus beer. I didnt like the tomatillo sauce but the spicy red one was good. Next time I have to try the avocado sauce.

Burritos the size of my big hands! I love how many vegetarian options they offer! This place is the real deal their menu is extensive, authentic, and fresh. The sweet gals working always hook it up and greet me so warmly. I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes for food, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and there’s always parking. This place is an absolute gem and SO underrated!

You order at the counter and the gentlemen taking my order (I believe the owner) was really kind and friendly. Complimentary chips and salsa were fresh and and slightly spicy! The flautas with shredded beef was crazy good!! The meat was tender and flavorful, not too salty. They didn’t skimp on the guac or sour cream, and the rice and beans were good on their own! Didn’t feel like a side just to be a side…
I’d highly recommend you skip any of the chain restaurants and come here for some authentic Mexican food!

My favorite place in Skagit Valley hands down. The nicest people run this “hole in the wall” with the best tacos in the county. Love their carne asada, enchiladas, and burritos as well.

It’s so difficult to get good Mexican food in Washington state. This place has renewed my faith. Quite authentic (they have tongue!). Generous portions, great and cheerful service. Consistently nice folks (been going here for at least 15 years now). There are fancier places, with nicer interiors but I haven’t found anything north of Seattle with genuinely better food.
