If there was an option for 7 stars on the service, I would have.
The team here- Chris, Claudia, Liam, and Sally are exceptional. They always have a smile on their faces and truly provide you with whatever you ask for- and never forget!
This is the coffee spot on longboat key that everyone wants to go because it captures the essence of the beach.
The quiches are amazing and the arugula salad that comes with it is heavenly.
The “my chocolate fix” is exactly as described and then some! It’s delicious, better than ice cream.
The coffee lates are on point and you can actually taste the coffee it’s not just milk and ice with some coffee.
And of course, they are truly inclusive-
Easy for handicap cap access, easy for biker, and plenty of parking all around them.
And last but not least… the backyard is phenomenal. It’s actually really the reason I come here- to just crush sea shells as I walk around the bay and enjoy my beverages.
This is hands down one of the best coffee shops in Sarasota and the east coast of America. I said it.

The best coffee shop in the greater Sarasota area. The food, service, ambiance, and most importantly – coffee – are all done to perfection. Every time I come to Longboat – I have to go to SIPS at least 3-4 times. The owners are wonderful and go above and beyond for their customers. I’m so glad to see it weathered through the hurricanes.

Nice new coffee shop with good vibes and great views outside. Espresso was good but the drinks could have used some more syrup for the price

Sips is a hidden gem that combines heart, flavor, and a love for the planet. The food is not only authentic and organic, but you can truly taste the care in every bite. From the flaky, rich chocolate almond croissants to the warm, spiced perfection of their chai, everything feels handmade and thoughtfully curated.
The vibe? Coastal charm with a conscience—they’re passionate about sea turtles, and it shows in the small details and sustainability-focused choices. The view of the canal is peaceful, and the back patio is the real winner: cozy, sun-drenched, and perfect for slow mornings or relaxed afternoons.
If you’re looking for a spot that feels good and does good, Sips is it.

Stopped for coffee and a pastry on the way to Cortez Beach a couple of miles south. The coffee was good and the banana bread was very good. The breakfast and lunch menu looks interesting.
There is seating inside and outside. Plenty of parking. The cafe is in the back area of this strip mall. Not easy to see.

Our favorite pet-friendly lunch AND specialty coffee stop in Longboat. Close to Coquina Beach park. We loved it so much, we came three days in a row. Access by shallow draft boat or kayak in the back. Shaded patios in front and back. Such friendly staff!

Love! Love! Staff was inviting and super sweet. It was busy when we walked in; food came out in a timely manner. We got the quiche, Açai bowl and breakfast bagel all 10/10. Definitely recommend will be back.

Had to find a local coffee shop because our resort coffee was just blah. So happy we gave Sips a try. I had a Sassy Hawaian and it was so good! Also had a fresh muffin and went back the next day as well.
