Our server was so sweet and the food was good. I had been craving good pozole for a while and even just the base without the chile was so good! Give the sweet boy a good tip if ya can, he was working the whole floor by his self and slaying it.

Food was good was a bit thrown off by them asking to add beans to my frito pie. Thought that beans normally go in frito pies. The Chile fries were good. Chile isnt hot but tasty. Surcharge of 2.50 for using a credit card was a bit odd. Got our food to go the atmosphere was a bit dated and the lady was giving off…get off my lawn vibes.

Stopped by on our way to Kansas. Wow!!! What an unexpected surprise. I had the breakfast burrito plate with red and green sauce (Christmas). It was incredible. Our server was the amazing Elida, the owner. It doesn’t get any better.

I had a concerning experience during my recent visit. A wire and a hair were found in my food, which could have posed a serious safety risk, especially with the metal wire. While the staff did comp the meal, this kind of issue should never happen. Food safety and quality need to be prioritized to prevent potentially dangerous situations like this. I hope the management takes this incident seriously and implements better quality control measures moving forward.

I would give negative stars if I could. Food was disgusting. Beans were sweet. Rice no flavor, and pisole sucked. Awful. Service was horrible.

Sue is/was hands down fantastic. Great energy, style and sense of humor. Truly love the food. Huntley, it was fresh, fast and great. Look forward to eating here again in the future. It’s truly worth the detour!!!!!

We stopped in for lunch only to be ignored by staff. They were not busy. After waiting a period of time to just be ignored, we got up and left. Sad to see a little town cafe unwilling to try provide customer service skills or even look at you and smile. We go thru Springer regularly but will never stop at this place again.

Delicious stop on our way home to Las Vegas! Way better than a normal fast food stop. We got the smothered burrito with ground beef (Christmas style – red and green sauce) and the double bacon green chili cheese burger. Everything was super tasty and fresh! Well, except the fries which needed more time in the fryer and some salt. Other patrons were real locals. One table of guys were wearing cowboy hats and boots with spurs, looked weather worn, and waved to all the other tables, their friends and neighbors, when they left. Another table held a husband and wife who were enjoying a tasty Sunday lunch. When our food arrived and I took out my phone, the lady leaned into her husband with a confused expression and whispered, “Look, she’s taking a picture of her food!”

I was craving New Mexico style cuisine and this place really delivers. You can get your enchiladas or burritos smothered in either green sauce, red sauce or both mixed (aka X-mas style). I am really glad I stopped in today.

Cute little roadside cafe with good Mexican food! We got the taco salad with chicken and beans! My daughter got the beef taco and rice! We all cleared our plates. We sat outside, as it was perfect for us with our new tiny dog. Also, it’s got a great yard on the north side for dogs or stretching! They were not serving chips and salsa that day, she said. That was my only let down but the taco salad has a huge fried tortilla so that satisfied my chip craving! Will stop again as I travel i25 often and it was a lighter style Mexican food!
