I’m not going to lie, I was nervous about spending the whole day at Main Event with five teenage boys (13-15). But my son wanted to throw a “surprise” birthday party for two of his friends so that’s what we did. To say we were delighted with how everything went would be a complete understatement. We arrived shortly after opening (at 11:15am on a Sunday) and were able to get a table. That allowed me to stay seated comfortably while the boys ran around. We got the “Food & Fun Combo” which gave each boy a good meal plus $10 worth of game credits for $20. I had made a little scavenger hunt for them to take selfies around the arcade and everyone had a blast. We were lucky enough to have Carter the manager helping us out and he went above and beyond to make the day truly special. From Bowling to the ropes course to laser tag, a fun time was had by all. We will definitely be coming back again soon!

what a disaster 70 percent of of everything is just broken. skeeballs missing when you start a game, broken joy sticks, dead machines, machines that take credits but dont work and have like 500 credits on them as so many people got conned into trying it. Heck even the card machines and food machines are broken. Maybe was fun in the day but the owners have stopped caring so many better places now.

I had an amazing experience at Main Event thanks to the outstanding managers, Zach and Alyssa. They were incredibly attentive, professional, and truly welcoming from start to finish. Their customer service went above and beyond and made our visit smooth and enjoyable. You can tell they genuinely care about both their guests and their team. It’s rare to find managers that are that hands-on kind. Because of them, our experience was top-notch and we’ll definitely be coming back!

Very disappointing.. in so many ways.
First, a LOT of the games were not working. I’d say at least 1/3 of the games we tried to play did not work. It would take the credits off our card, but not allow us to play. This happened with all the skeeball games, basketball, the ones where you throw the ping pong balls, etc. Both of the VR games were broken and only allowed 1 player instead of 2, and did not show the player experience on screen. Further, some of the games are old and need to be upgraded, like the soccer game has a ball that is so worn out and torn up that it won’t even roll out when the game starts. We were at Dave and Buster’s literally the day before, and everything worked fine there, and they had a maintenance person walking around making sure things were working. We paid a lot more money here at Main Event, and unfortunately didn’t have near as much fun.
We tried the pizza here, and can only say that it was mediocre and needed more cheese. Would not try again.
The bathroom was disgusting and half of the stalls were out of order…
The only pro was bowling! We encountered no issues and had a great experience with this aspect.
Overall, it was a negative. I probably will not be coming here for a long while.

My first time here and Olivia had brought amazing customer service to our table annd never slacked! She was respectful with a really great and positive attitude. She brought a nice welcoming atmosphere! 10/10 will definitely be coming back !

Not awful but not great either. It’s reasonably priced for things which makes this place unique and decent atmosphere. When the games worked it was pleasant, but also annoying since more than half the games didn’t work. I had a few games either take credit and partially let you play, crash halfway through gameplay (photo is skiing game that crashed halfway), or take credit and not work at all. There’s so little to do in Albuquerque so this place would be so cool, but it’s a little disappointing in the end.

Our kiddo had her birthday party here this week, we did bowling arcade gravity ropes and laser tag with accommodations for food and cake. 4 solid hours of fun you definitely get your bang for your buck. Diego was our party host and he was amazing. The only challenging thing is the wait periods between activities. Sometimes we would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes between things which can be hard for the kids but he went above and beyond constantly checking on us. Would recommend this place for sure.

Be ready to drop at least $100 in this place. Most of the games either don’t work, or don’t have the necessary components to play. For example the ski ball took our money because while it worked, there were no balls in the specific machine we chose. We went on a Saturday afternoon and I can imagine that time and day is their busiest day of the week. The restrooms were disastrous. I’m talking this place should be shut down for how unsanitary the restrooms are. Poop and pee spread all over the toilets, multiple toilets overflowing, paper towels in only one dispenser, black plastic bags put over toilets that I’m assuming don’t work, a smell I will NEVER forget. While this may say more about how nasty the public is, it is still Main Event’s job to keep their restrooms up to par. ESPECIALLY with the prices they charge. As a woman with a small child this is so unacceptable. There is a standard that needs to be met. Management should be ashamed of themselves. Fast forward the next day, me and another woman in my party got EXTREMELY sick. I’m betting it was e-coli based off symptoms. It took me 2 weeks to get better. My children love this place but because of this experience we will never be back. I will happily take my money elsewhere.

We waited about 30 min for a table when there was open seating available. We eventually got seated and waited 10 min for the server and even longer for drinks. We had 1 drink and also tried to order food but the server said they were behind. I spent over $100 for games for my daughters for 45 min. Ended up leaving right after.
