This place is great, the food is delicious and the service is above and beyond. They explained what things were for my kids that weren’t sure what they wanted and even gave my daughter a little cup of birria to taste to see if that was the kind of tacos she wanted. Will definitely be back.

I recently tried Taste Home in Shirley and overall had a good experience. The birria tacos were definitely a hit — flavorful, tender, and cooked just right. I’d absolutely order those again.
I also tried the beef soup. It had good flavor, but in my opinion it was a bit too salty for my taste. I ended up adding a little ketchup to balance it out, which helped.
The mango smoothie was delicious — you can tell it was made with real, raw mangoes and not concentrate. It tasted fresh and natural.
Overall, I’d go back, especially for the birria tacos and the smoothie!

Prices are very reasonable. The bathroom is very clean and so is the rest of the restaurant and the staff are great. Definitely recommend this to everybody.

An awesome experience that started right when I walked in! They were closed when I got there so I was about to leave, but when I decided to go back for a menu, the owners invited me in & said they would still serve me!
I had a very nice conversation with the owner while I waited for the food. He’s obviously very passionate & excited about what he does which is so awesome to see!
And his love for his business shows, because the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I got the birria tacos; the meat was very tender & juicy, and you get 3 tacos so the portion size is generous!
Long story short – WE WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK!

First time going here we ordered pork tacos steak tacos and birria tacos. First the steak tacos were made with freshly cooked steak right in front of you. First time here. We wanted to support local business and decided to try it. We ordered birria tacos and beef tacos to go. Service was great, but when I got home and opened the bag, we got carnitas tacos instead of birria. It was very disappointing because we were really looking forward to try the birria tacos. Maybe we went too soon after their opening. Wishing them the best with the business, they look like very kind people.

First time coming here it was absolutely amazing!! The inside was spotless and really tidy. The variety on the menu is so diverse and unique. I took hot food to go and it was all delicious! The man working the front had amazing service and was very attentive! I would definitely recommend to go here if you haven’t!!

Couldn’t wait to try the food. Sadly was very disappointed. Had white rice with the steak(really beef stew) It was very bland, meat was hard and had no flavor at all. For the price, I had 3/4 rice and 1/4 meat. Sweet plantains were very hard. My husband had the pork and chicharrones with a fried rice. Also rice was very bland. Pork was dry. Mango smoothie was delicious though. Hopefully I’ll try something different next time.

Wow, the owners are amazing! I came in at closing and they welcomed me with open arms. You can tell how much love is poured into this place. Ice cream was delicious! Perfect consistency, not overly sweet, made just right!
