My friend Jesse Choi and I went there for breakfast, it was amazingly delicious. Service was great, but they ran away sometimes however I asked with napkins and hot sauce. The hashbrowns are 9.1 and the breakfast burrito was an 8.6 so the food was big portions so I cut it in half to take it home. I’ll come back next time. Thank you IHOP! I’ll give you 8.8/10!

This IHOP is very spacious since it’s a fairly new location. They opened during the Pandemic and did serve take out during this time. I came here for the first time to dine in on a random January 2023 day. Brunch was the plan given we’re the type that likes breakfast all day. Pancakes are very good here but the service was a little off. My server took my order and randomly brought a plate here and there but otherwise, we were served by many other staffers. I had the country fried steak, my group ordered all breakfast combos. Pretty good value but the best part is the pot of coffee and the flavored syrups. They are now served in plastic sauce to go containers. They are no longer in the glass syrup dispenser and no longer on the tables. Hash browns is a must… You can tell them crispy or regular.

We’ve been here two times now and it truly is a gem. We were served by diana today and javon on the last visit. My son is super shy and even was comfortable with javon, and Diana was more than attentive and accommodating. I don’t know how anyone could have a bad thing to say, I’m being glad we gave it a go. It is so much calmer and quieter than the other IHOPs around, the food is definitely much better and the service has been amazing both times. We will definitely be returning.

My first IHOP experience – similar to Eggsmart, our Canadian counterpart. We were a family group with kids, went for a typical Sunday brunch. I’d say they were a bit more crowded than we expected for a Sunday, but that didn’t ruin our experience. Food was okay to good – a slight miss here and there, but the kids loved their pancakes and waffles. Not dry (surprise!) and perfectly sweet. I liked their Fisherman platter and fries were great (unlike Eggsmart). I’d visit again next time.

I’m writing this review in the hope that the quality of the food will improve. This used to be a place we frequented with our kids, but at some point, the quality has significantly dropped. The burnt fries and the wilted lettuce in the burger ruined our family’s special outing, and the experience is still unforgettable. I felt like they took the lettuce they were going to throw away and put it in my burger instead, and it made me feel really unpleasant. I also thought that an elderly person might not have noticed and just eaten it. I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews, but I’m doing so here in the hopes that the issue will be addressed.

Location: IHOP, Bay Terrace, Queens
Date of Visit: September 20th 2025 @ 10:15am
Our recent visit to the IHOP in Bay Terrace was incredibly disappointing and showcased a complete lack of empathy and customer service from an employee named Diana. We were a party of six, including my 75-year-old mother-in-law, and our experience was far from welcoming.
Upon arrival, we waited for a full five minutes before being addressed by Diana. The restaurant was not busy, yet her demeanor was cold and unhelpful from the start. We were shocked when she refused to seat us until our entire party was present. My elderly mother-in-law, who has difficulty standing for extended periods, was forced to remain on her feet with the rest of us as we waited for our sixth member.
When we explained the situation and the physical difficulty it was causing, Diana dismissed our concerns with a flippant “oh, this is the company policy.” Her response was dismissive and showed a complete disregard for the comfort and well-being of an elderly person. While we understand that restaurants have policies, there was no attempt to offer a compromise, such as allowing the five of us to be seated while we waited a few extra minutes. The lack of concern was unprofessional and unacceptable.
This incident tainted what should have been a pleasant family breakfast and left a deeply negative impression. We hope the management will address this issue with Diana, as a good customer experience depends on more than just “company policy” when common courtesy and respect are so obviously lacking.

We were seated right away, but took like 40 mins to get our orders, got a coffee cup half full, then someone was walking around asking everybody if that order was theirs, by the time it got to us was cold. The manager tried 8to do his best but the damage was done. Not coming here again, I rather wait my hour at the other location. Don’t bother replying I’m not Interested in an apology that won’t solve anything anymore.

I called today on Christmas and spoke with the manager Diane in regards to adding something to my $70 dollar DoorDash order and she was extremely rude and inconsiderate. Her behavior was highly inappropriate on Christmas. There needs to be more customer service workshops for managers especially when we are supporting and paying this establishment. I give this location 0 stars due to the manager Diane. Go elsewhere and spend your money where you are appreciated!!!

First time to this IHOP and would probably be the last. Ordered quick 2 egg breakfast and lemon crepe, home fries was cold and chewy, toasts were burnt, and the sausage links were so small. Crepe texture was really hard, the filling tasted nothing but icing. The worst was the silverware!! They were filthy! Management needs to check the dishwashing machine. I was very surprised to see there was only one table besides us, on a Saturday night. But now I see why.
