Old Lisbon is now an iconic Portuguese fine dining restaurant chain with several area locations. Since 1991, this family-owned restaurant has been serving up a diverse menu of Portuguese specialties, from seafood and codfish dishes to steaks and vegetarian options. We were greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we entered the door. We ordered Chilean seabass, paella mariscos, bacallao with olive oil and garlic. Everything tasted as good as it look. The crust of pasteis de nata was so flaky!! Service was excellent. Rafael and the staff made my father-in-law’s bday extra special by singing the birthday song for him. Highly recommend this place.

We came to this restaurant looking for a good seafood soup, and overall the visit left a pleasant impression.
The service was very professional and attentive calm, friendly, and never intrusive. The interior is stylish and well thought out, with a refined, upscale feel and pleasant background music that creates a comfortable atmosphere.
I tried the port wine flight, which was well curated and felt more like a small story than just a selection of drinks.
We ended up ordering two different seafood soups. Both were flavorful and satisfying, and the portion sizes were surprisingly generous. The only drawback was the squid in the soup, which was slightly overcooked and therefore a bit chewy, standing out from an otherwise well-balanced dish.
We also ordered the sardines. Unfortunately, neither the presentation nor the flavor made much of an impression. The dish felt rather neutral and did not leave a pleasant aftertaste. Overall, this is probably a dish best suited for true sardine enthusiasts, and it wasn’t a highlight for us.
That said, the restaurant as a whole left a positive impression thanks to its excellent service, inviting atmosphere, and generous portions. A place worth revisiting.

What a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the most beautiful decorations that really set the coastal vibe. We decided to try a bunch of dishes, and let me tell you, the octopus was so tender and drizzled with olive oil—just the perfect starter! We paired it with a refreshing rosé, and every appetizer we had was amazing. The seafood was incredibly fresh, but I have to say, the star of the show for me was definitely the PAELHA MARINHEIRA. You absolutely have to check this place out!

A wonderful restaurant with a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere. Everything was truly delicious, and we really enjoyed our dinner. A special mention goes to the steak with pepper sauce — it was absolutely outstanding. We will definitely be coming back!

Absolutely wonderful restaurant. We were in the area for just a few days to get away for the weekend and our goal was to enjoy a nice opera and some good food over the weekend. This place was a wonderful treat. Every dish was well made and the service was very attentive. Best part is we were not rushed but allowed to sit back and just take our time. Two small bits of feedback though, ask your younger staff to not wear so much cologne. My wife was having a reaction to staff members cologne making it difficult to enjoy the evening.
Also, when cleaning plates off the table, I would suggest not smacking the silverware against the plates at the table to clean them off. I don’t enjoy having to get my $1000 suit jacket dry cleaned to get stains out after having watched your staff splatter food on it.

We like review after 3 times, so that we can see if there is a consistent positive pattern, and here, at Old Lisbon Aventura we had every single time the most excellent experience, from the very beginning being welcomed by Ada is just an outstanding performance, we love her, and we can say she offers her warmest welcome to everyone visiting this Restaurant, followed by Fatima with her menu knowledge and her sympathies and attention to detail, and the flavorful dishes, smelling and tasting like in Portugal… we are in love with this Restaurant and we will taste the whole menu.
