This is an amazing place to come get food here at the Cypress Swap Meet. I have passed by here a few times and notice the line is always getting to be really long, so I knew I would one day have to try it. Well today was that day and I was left really pleased with my meal.
I ordered two gorditas, one asada and one chicharrón rojo and they were both so damn good. I had cheese put into both of them and even though I wasn’t able to get salsa, I still loved every last bite. I think I liked the chicharron one a little more than the asada but they were both delicious.
I will say, they were quite pricy, 6$ for each one but it was definitely worth it because they were great. I am already thinking about coming back and trying some of their other options, as they have a long list of meats to choose from and even some good vegetarian options as well like rajas con queso or beans.
Also, this place tends to get pretty packed. I wasn’t able to sit down because all the tables were taken so I had to get my food to go and eat at one of the benches by the college. And don’t be scared by the long line. It goes by real fast!
